oh, wait... what I mean is, it's 10:43pm on the east coast, I worked five hours clearing trees from the Pine Mountain Trail with my friends, I'm old, I'm tired and I'm sore from the branch that hit me in the head...

So who's ready to SLEEP as well?

Is this a protest? Is it a movement? An grassroots movement to get people to go to bed?

I'm getting set to, PG, if you can hold up the wagon for just a few minutes!

PG's started a movement.

Can we walk into a recruiter's office wherever we are and sing a bar of "Alice's Restaurant" together? :lol

And poor Rageprophet can't join in this fun of sleeping! 8 more ours of work. :sad

Bed? Bed...the concept sounds good!

:sad Unfortunately, I've been troubled with insomnia a lot...and with all the "stuff" going on lately, I don't think I've had a full night's sleep in...well...'smatter of fact, I truly can't remember when I last went to bed at a normal hour...say prior to midnight and slept all the way through to a decent time in the morning...like 6:30 or so.

I used to try to stay up all day in the hopes of sleeping better the next night...but that was a fail, I just got less and less sleep and became sort of useless and grumpy.

Now...I just sleep when I can. Last night I slept from about 2:30 until about 5:45, then slept from 9:00 until noon. Seems to have been enough...I felt pretty good the rest of the day. 'Course, the morning was shot and by afternoon it was much too hot outside to really do anything...:bigfrown

:) Anyway, as you're catching you're 40 winks, try to get in a few for me too!

I do think I'll try something again tonight...Someone posted something about how stupid the Ancient Aliens show was. I came across it at 2:15am, figured I'd see if it was a dumb as I'm sure it must be...and it put me right to sleep. Tuned in again this morning at around 8:30...and was zonked again by 9:00. Maybe I'll turn it on in about an hour and see if I can get to sleep before 11:00.

Are you still up, Rageprophet? :)

It's a little past 2:00 am here...Ancient Aliens was only stupid, not soporific. Anyway, it's too hot to sleep...at least for me. I'll catch up on sleep later...probably during Pastor Reeder's sermon...:lol

I'm still up handy :)

Gotta get netflix especially if you into history channel stuffs like the american revolution or the civil war they even have ok stuff on Israel, cable especially on the weekend is so boooooring and to often is just infomercials

Lately, sleep has come easily for me - for about the past year or so. I have learned to knock off the caffine after about 6pm and I have established a routine of exercise (on my elliptical) and then a shower, then a few minutes of "quiet time" - and off to bed.

But things, emotionally and stress-wise are not too bad, let thigns get worse and I'll have a hard time as well. But even when things are hard, sleep is an escape for me, so insomnia has only RARELY been a problem.

Oh, and I LOVE my sleep number bed - I've had it for at least 8 years now. I'ts a wonderful way to end the day, but it can be hard to get out of it in the morning!

Take today, for example - I skipped church because I went WAY TOO FAR with the trail association yesterady. I woke a little "off", I got a LOT of sun and realize I did drink water, I did not drink enough - and I am suffering from a salt shortage... been sipping gatorade all morning. I'm back in bed now, I'll nod off in awhile.

Im fighting the aging thing every step of the way, but boy am I a little sore and drained after yesterday!

Well, I overslept today. That new medication, Trazadone (anti-depressant) certainly cures any insomnia I had!

Seems like life is a bit "depressing" in general, according to the docs- since this "anti- depressant" works well for insomnia.

Hey, as long as it isn't a clinical, major depression, right?

Oh, and definitely avoid the caffeine, maybe even after 4pm (since it may take a least an hour or 2 to nurse & drink it!)

All's well with my soul. Praise God! Couldn't get to sleep for hours the other night, being very concerned for my daughter making a move to Texas. She drive on I-10 from Jacksonville, Fl to mid Texas- all during the threat of tropical storm Don in the midst. I prayed & the Lord once again was awesome. That storm stayed nice & west & south & almost evaporated before my eyes!

Just had to tell y'all about that one. Just in case one ever doubts about His children's "important" prayers!

It's 1:30 on the east coast now & I can use another coffee to get through the day..... I think I will cut the dose in half from now on!:lol

Thats funny I remember Ravenhill telling his wife that there was no way this bed was this comfortable when we got in it last night.
