I'm home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sure feels good to be home. Been up in Lawrenceville, GA for two days of school. This was a MOTOROLA school, best one in about 15 years, too.

I went to learn about "MotoTRBO Connect Plus" trunking - and I did learn about it. But they surprised us by spending all day today on RF Analysis!

I just wish I'd known, could have brought my scientific calculator - but still, learned a lot and have hours and hours of follow-up homework to do - the student handbook is a treasure-trove of information on noise concepts, site filtering, system design and measurement & diagnosis procedures.

Cost was only $250 tuition. We should have sent 3 or 4 techs to that school!

I also found that I can have a job in about four cities in Georgia (or the Carolinas) if I just apply.

Keep an eye on me, my fellow mods - my IP address might be changing!

(No, I'm not a mod HERE... but I am a mod, somewhere, out there on the interweb thing.)

Praying God's guidance and discernment for you PG! Sounds like some good opportunities are on your horizon.

:thumbsup

And I need the prayers, thanks Dora.

(You are the second Dora I've ever known... got a friend in Michigan by that name.)

Man, PG, I went to a conference with the expectation that I would be learning about motoTRBO Connect Plus trunking, it ends up being about RF analysis. I was so blown away, I didn't know whether to throw myself out of the 5th story window or break down in sobs. I won't tell you what I did, but I'm still here to tell you about it! When they threw that curve ball at us, you could hear a pin drop one moment and it was insanity and chaos the next!

This OP of yours, BTW, reads like a third grader wrote it. If you're going to tell us about something technical, perhaps you would lend to your own credibility by using a few technical terms. By the time I got done reading it, I was so thoroughly bored with your 3rd grade caveman writing, I was just embarrassed for you.

Oh, and in case there are any first graders reading along, perhaps you can tell them what RF analysis is, because they're probably thinking it sounds pretty integral to your experience. I would tell them, but I'm already too bored with this elementary thread.

:p

Back at work - heading to a hospital near some of the Tornado damage to look at their HEAR radio* it's been out since the storm, 9 days ago.

I forgot how bad Dunkin Donuts coffee is.

For Mike (because he thinks someone cares):
*Hospital Emergency Administrative Radio - old (but very reliable) technology, used to communicate between ambulances and hospital emergency rooms.
