I'm Joshua

Hello, my parents named me Joshua at birth. But I like to be called Josh.

I'm living in China. Crazy right? Well many Chinese people are interested in Christianity.

There are even churches in the big cities like Shanghai and Beijing. I'm in Beijing.

Did you ever hear of this thing called Au Pairs? Some Chinese families want a foreigner to live with them for a year or less, doing housework and spending time with their children. In exchange you can learn the Chinese language and culture.

Anyways, I'm involved with that and I think it's a good way for the seed of Christianity to be planted. Let me know what you think. Glad to be here!

Thats awesome Josh.

I pray for God's Blessing and Grace to be upon you, and for His Holy Spirit to fill you with both power to witness, and Wisdom to discern.

Bless you Brother.

You have a unique opportunity.

Please be aware and on guard for the State Church!

That's an awesome idea. :thumbsup I'm always amazed with the doors the Lord opens and those who choose to go through them. You're a credit to the brethren.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noahidism
Those who subscribe to the observance of these commandments are referred to as Bene Noach (B'nei Noah) (Hebrew: בני נח‎), Children of Noah, Noahides (/ˈn.ə.hdɨs/), or Noahites (/ˈn.ə.htɨs/). Supporting organizations have been established around the world over the past decades, by either Noahides or observant Jews.

welcome. am I correct in that you say you are a noachide?
Hello jasonc.

I had never heard of Noahidism. Very interesting to learn about. Actually, I chose this name as a reminder that we all come from Noah's line and to remind us of Noah's character and morals. He wasn't just chosen randomly. He was chosen because of who he was, what he stood for and what he believed.

Thank you all for the warm welcome and glad to be here.

Welcome Joshua! My wife was an Au Pair from Brazil. She came to the U.S to work for a family about 11 years ago.

the bible doesn't say much on what noah believed, not that we need much just that he found grace and also was drunk one time(doubt it was his first since go that stupid to like naked in a tent) and also the offering.you just sound very much like a noahide. jews would say of course we are from him but well read up on the seven laws.
