I'm trying to be like Jesus

I am new to the forum and just getting started. I hope to participate in many discussions about my favorite topic which is Jesus Christ and which includes His love, teachings, promises, and blessings.

One among very many of my favorite scriptures is Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

I adhere to the King James version mostly because I am not familiar with any other version and at my age probably never will be. I also believe we need a common ground for discussion and no version of the bible is used more widely among English speaking people. I also personally believe that God played a part in choosing its translators more so than He did for any other English version.

I read the entire bible, including the Old Testament, at least once a year cover to cover.
