Indecent dressing among the males.

I attended a program where some teenages and children where made to give speeches on Indecent Dressing. The girls and almost everybody commented on how females can dress indecently, such talks like: miniskirts, stuff that expose a woman's body in a provokin or seducing manner etc.

I was surprised that nothing meaningful was said on the account of the guys, how they can dress indecently. So apart from tatoos and the frying of hair or wearing of earing - which some frown at (not saying those are indecent dressing) how does a male really dress indecently?

The only think I can think of is dressing like a dweeb, or would we consider flamboyant dressing incdecent?

Pictures, if any, will be appreciated

Extremely tight pants, open shirts...

A couple of weeks ago we were watching the National Ballroom Dancing competition. Much to my surprise, my grandson (10) took an interest in the ballroom dances. His grandpa is an excellent dancer and has commented before, how he wished that we had been able to take lessons in the more complicated ballroom dances and he enjoys watching the professionals. Like grandpa, like grandson.
Anyway, during the Latin dance section, he immediately noticed some of the more skimpy costumes and was embarrassed. He didn't just notice the women's but the men's bare chests, as well. I assured him that if he were to dance these dances, he would not have to dress like that, they are costumes. Assured, he just went on to watch how the dances were executed.
So if a 10 yr. old notices inappropriate dress in men, why didn't your teens?

I would add the current custom of exposing one's underware. And among men that are indoor servicemen, the wearing of regulare T-Shirts. In anyone's house if a man is going to wear a T-Shirt to work in cit must be a long tail. it is very important to recall that men are not the only people that look at the other sex's rear end and baring even part of it is very indecient.

Sheesh yes lets not be crude note the color of this post it is admin says pink

I think this would cover most of the inappropriate dress for men. It used to be that men dressed sharp and women were the ones to push the edge of the fashion envelope, it being more acceptable for girls, because, well, they're girls lol.

I think that men who dress inappropriately are confused. Men don't need to dress on the edge at all. I understand why women do. There's so much competition for males (there are more women than men) that girls'll dress the edge to turn heads and increase their chances. Dressing on the edge is flashy and turns more heads. So why would men have to dress like a tropical fish?

It used to be, that inappropriate dress for a male was, not wearing a tie. Getting dressed to go out on the town with your girl meant putting on a suit and shining your shoes. Here's my idea of pushing the edge of the envelope of inappropriateness, lol.

My wife seems to think my Borat mankini is inappropriate dress. :shrug

I do admit it turns a number of female heads at our church picnics.

....the other way :lol.

I know some of our parents thought the hair/music we had (graduated in 71) was ridiculous so I should know better, but that underwear look? I just don't get it.

Do they tie those up with some type of hidden suspender/string or something? Seems to me, they would just finish falling down unless they were constantly aware and holding their legs in such an awful uncomfortable position. And to walk like that and keep them up at the same time with no additional support? beyond my compression.

After a little more thought, I recall the Hip Huggers in my day and when many began to wear their pants, not up to their navel but a few inches lower.

Actually, not real sure if that didn't happen sometime in the fifties or sooner, but either way I suppose that could have been the predecessor to the underwear thing.
