And finally, Obed and Jesse and David!

Conclusion of the book of Ruth:

  • This book is a small one with only four chapters!
  • But there is a lot to remember!
  • We are told about a simple story!
  • It’s strange why the majority sees the Bible as the history of a chosen people!
  • I see the Bible as the history of exceptions!
  • Few faithful servants of Yah.weh who transmit the flame of faithfulness through generations among the darkness of corruption!
  • It’s probably because corruption is everywhere and thus faithfulness doesn’t mean a lot today!
  • But here we have a summary of the Bible!
  • A minority of people who have a part of Jesus’ genealogy because of their faithfulness!
  • And more exceptional is Ruth because she is not an Israelite but a foreigner!
  • RUTH!
  • NAOMI!
  • BOAZ!
