Sometimes a Christians life seems unfair. Lets look at a young man who comes from a rich family, and a young Christian man who comes from a poor family. In many cases life seems to benefit the one from the wealthy family. He has a new car that daddy bought him, he eats at the best establishments. Has girls hanging off of both arms, parties every night at the best nightclubs, gets recognition where ever he goes, wears the best clothes lives in a beatiful home, and so on and so on he has a great inheritence waiting for him.
Now the young Christian man whose background is poverty he has nothing the other man has. Now alot of times the Christian is jealous of the rich man. Then tragedy strikes the Christian when his dad dies of cancer at 45, the Christians look to God for answers but it seems like God is not there. He loses his job, his old car breaks down he does not have the money to fix it. Then a bad car accident kills his best friend. Again it is where were you God when I needed you. Once again it seems like God abandoned him, and the problems keep coming his way, while the rich youth seems to have no problems.
First off satan is the one causing all the trouble for The Christian not God you see satan really is afraid of the Christian the closer he gets to God, because satan knows that if the Christian keeps lookind into the word he will be a threat to his kingdom, so satan is always bring him down. Why does satan not attack the other wealthy youth, simple satan knows he all ready has him.
Now when the Christian leaves the world he goes to heaven because of his relationship with Jesus now he lives in the mansion because he has an inheritence in Gods kingdom. The rich man could take every penny he has and he could not buy his way into Heaven. He is eternally seperated from God. To understand this from the Bibles perspective, read Matthew 19: 16-24 and the account In Luke: 16 19-31.

Hello Robert.
Though I do not disagree with the basic message of your post, can you explain how Satan might have been responsible for the troubles you listed? Do you think that it is possible that sometimes when bad luck befalls us that it isn't caused by Satan, but is mearly do to circumstance such as an worn-out engine, temporay cash-flow problems, hydroplaning............

Peace

funny my devos were on something that has to do with this subject

you convay the fact that satan is out there and he is head hunting
this is true

my family was poor if you only knew my testomony that i can tell
since that time God has blessed my dad without holding it back
my dad since then has gotten a new job and my family lives in a house that is not falling apart at the seems.

my devos were on when all breaks down praise him

i looked at the examples given and they blow me away
the most intreeging is when your car breaks down... yep that one a pain but that may have saved you from a crash that could have costed you your life.

also i have lost a friend to a car wreck
2 hours before he died we did a bible study and it was on, take a guess
praising God through trials and tribulations, instead of looking at it as he is dead you should look at it as he is with God yeah!!! :smt041

i know that many trials are brought on not by satan but by God to test our trust and loyalty to him. my family is a big one 8 people and every time a storm comes we grow closer together.
believe me that it does grow trying but have faith in God, during the storm is when you should be closest to him not farthest trying to get through it the worlds way.
when a attack from the enemy does come you will know it.

P.S. he also does it to stregthen our spiritual gifts too. :smt111

First of all, Welcome A-Christian! Nice to have you here!

I tend to agree that not all trials and tribulations come from Satan. Sometimes God will bring us the trials just to strengthen our faith. Sometimes, I do believe a flat tire is simply a flat tire. And, sometimes, we are the culprit, in our own pride and lusts.

But, I do agree Robert that Satan probably doesn't bother to attack those who are sitting firmly in his pocket.

Yes Handy, we can't blame all tribulations on an act of Satan or God. We turned away from God in the Garden which meant we will shoulder much of the events that come our way on our own. That's not to say God does nothing for us... He does. And of course that doesn't mean Satan is given total freedom to do as He darn well pleases all the time either.
Best way I can put it is that it rains on the wicked and the righteous.

I've taken my thoughts from the Book of Job. God can keep things under control by allowing things to happen or stoping them. There is plenty of examples in the Bible. I feel right now He's
holding satan back, when He lets satan go first will be the Rapture then the Great Tribulation, however I can not back that statement up with scripture. Peace Back To You.

What I said I agree does not incompass the whole story, there is times when God allows test and trails to help us grow in faith and to understand that He is God, and also to test our obedience.
Thank you all for reminding me of that, when I get to Heaven I want to hear God say " Good job my good and faithful servant. "
God Bless You All.
