Is all of the Bible written to us

You have no temptations? Ok….lucky you! I guess you are one of those people too that never sin anymore?
Here's 4 verses on that and I did not write the book...

Romans 6
How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

1 John 3 & 5
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin, for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not.

"Tempted" & "Fulfil" are two different things.
Your lack of spiritual discernment is showing.
The Lord Jesus was "Tempted" just as we are, yet never once fulfilling the temptation as we do.
And even Christ Himself never spoke pridefully of His sinless nature.
He only alluded to it when He was being accused & attacked saying:
" What sin is it you accuse me of ? "
He never made prideful declaration of it as you have done .

Do you even realize that by virtue of laying claim for yourself to not only never sinning, but never even being tempted to be jealous, greedy, angry, etc, etc,,,& etc, you have not only been tempted but you have fulfilled the one sin that God says He hates the most?
I suspect you are not even aware of this sin you have fulfilled before the eyes of all reading it.
The sin of pride.

Pro 16:18
"Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall."

Here's 4 verses on this sin that I think you are referring to...

Romans 6
How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

And I did not write the book.

This does not say you will never sins again. You are right a Christian should strive to live apart from sin but this does not mean it will happen. It doesn’t.

This is the important part…
3:9. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
The seed is the word of God. Lk 8:11. When a Christian is being guided by the word they cannot sin because the Gods word will never lead a person to sin. BUT….what if the christian does not allow the word of God to guide there life in some area? They will sin! This is what happens.
Now, Im going to show you some Bible and I didnt write it. The same writer, the same book as you have quoted above says this…
1 Jn 1:6-10 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
John is writing to Christians and he uses the word “us” which means he is including himself in this thought. He point blank says…..
IF IF IF we say we have no sin see deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. I have to conclude by this that the truth is not in you.
IF IF IF we say we have fellowship AND walk in darkness. the word “if” implies that this is definitely possible. Its a conditional statement. We can do one thing but IF we do the other meaning it is possible. You say it isnt. I will believe John.
IF IF IF we say we have not sinned (he includes himself) we make him a liar and his word (which is the seed) is not in us.
But IF IF we walk in the light. IF implies that just might not do this And he is including himself.
See how all this works. There are so many examples of ChristIan’s in the Bible who sinned it would take all day to cover them all.

Temptation overcoming us, or overcoming the world, ( the temptation of this world.) you cant have both.

2 Peter 2:19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

I am not those in 2 Peter 2:19 who are from the corruption or those in the book of Revelation. All hope for our redemption is in Jesus Christ, who was born into this world, died, and in the resurrection, he became the head of a new creation. The living resurrected Christ Jesus has become the one great subject that occupies the Word of God that the church belongs to. It's this Christ Jesus that is the key to the divine revelation in the Word of God for this our Grace administration. The contents of the New Testament must be understood in reference to Christ Jesus our Lord because the doctrine and nature of God for this our Grace administration are centered in His Christ. I'm in this Christ and therefore I can and am made the righteousness of God in him.

2 Corinthians 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

I'm in this Christ and therefore I can and am made the righteousness of God in him.

Your statement proved you are not, from your own words you are JUDGED..

Luke 19:22 And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:

You speak of yourself ( exalted) instead of letting the Lord speak for us ( humble way)

Proverbs 27:Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
2 Let another man praise thee, and not thine own mouth; a stranger, and not thine own lips.

James 4:13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:
14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.
16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.
17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

2 Corinthians 10:18 For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.

I believe the 1 John that you are quoting was John talking to those who were not yet born again. So they had sin.
NO! Every epistle is written to ChristIans.
Look at chapter 2 verse 1..
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
He calls them “my little children”. These are not alien sinners. Non Christians.
look at verse 12..
I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
He is writing to people whose sins have been forgiven. These are not people who are not “born again”.
There was not any epistle that was written to non Christians.

Everybody is a little child until Christ is born in them ( then a man of God) and people who preach another Gospel should be stopped.

Galatians 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

1 Corinthians 13:11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Yeah not all the verses are addressing Christians. For example Romans 10:9-10 does not seem like that is talking to the Christian. A lot of the Bible is this way.

I see this 1 John chapter 1 and 2 as we are either walking in our old dead nature if we are into sin. Or we are walking in the spirit if we are not into sin.

Chapter 1
6 "If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:"
6. Not in him because we are either not saved or have not put on the new man.

7 "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."
7. In him because we are saved and have put on the new man.

8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."
8. Not in him because we are either not saved or have not put on the new man.

9 "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
9. In him because we are saved and have put on the new man.

10 "If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us."
10. Not in him because we are either not saved or have not put on the new man.

Chapter 2
1 "My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:"
1. Not in him because we are either not saved or have not put on the new man.

2 "And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world."
2. Not in him because we are either not saved or have not put on the new man.

3 "And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments."
3. In him because we are saved and have put on the new man.

4 "He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."
4. Not in him because we are either not saved or have not put on the new man.

5 "But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him."
5. In him because we are saved and have put on the new man.

6 "He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked."
6. In him because we are saved and have put on the new man.

The book of Romans is written to….
1:5-7. By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ: To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
These are Christians.

In this book he explains many things about salvation, and he reminds these christians what it takes to be pleasing to God.
Does it take belief? Yes. Many passages say that.
Does it take repentance? Yes. 2:4
Does it take confession? Yes. We see that in other passages as well.
What about vs 13? Does it take “calling on the name of the Lord”? Yes
What about Rom 6? Does it take baptism? Yes. He explains there that “newness of Life” happens when raised out the waters of baptism. Vs 17,18. They were made “free fro sin” after they were “obedient to that form of doctrine”.
The book of Romans is book ended with this phrase..”obedience to the faith”. Rom 1:5. 16:26
Rom 2:6-11 teaches us that it takes obedience to be pleasing to God.
The point is….Paul has many things to say about salvation in this book so why do you omit everything else and only go to 10:9,10.
I see this 1 John chapter 1 and 2 as we are either walking in our old dead nature if we are into sin. Or we are walking in the spirit if we are not into sin.

John was not writing to people that needed to be obedient to the gospel he was writing to Christian’s that needed encouragement and more knowledge. These were fellow Christian’s. And IF they sinned he reminds them that they have an advocate. How does one get “into Christ”?
2 "And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world."
2. Not in him because we are either not saved or have not put on the new man.

6. In him because we are saved and have put on the new man.
1 Jn 2
I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
He is writing to Christians. People who have already had there sins forgiven.

Okay then how do you explain this...

Romans 6
How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

For he that is dead is freed from sin.

he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin,

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law,

Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

being made free from sin, and become servants to God,

1 John 3 & 5
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin, for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not.

Dead to sin, is to be dead to ignorance( Christ came to give knowledge of salvation by the remission of our sins.)

This is a very easy thing to establish, it reveals who believes in righteousness and who does not, who believes in love and who does not, by their deeds.

Love is not in talk, as these forum are the place of just that, they then are for all who can hear this message and leave them asap. ( I am gone right now.)
