Is Church Attendance Important for a Christian?

iLOVE , jasonc , and Free ,
There are many ways to interpret the passage that iLove brings up and there is enough room for all of your views without anyone being wrong or having to prove themselves.
There is? Is it just this passage that can have many ways of interpretation or do we allow this for the entirety of Scripture? This view is one of the reasons there is so much error and division in Christianity.

As far as I can see, the Bible does not say why the pomegranates, nor does it give us any indication as to any sort of symbolism of them or the bells. And if the Bible gives us no indication, it would be best not to add to what we have been given. We cannot just willy-nilly come up with "spiritual" meanings of the Bible, even if they sound good. That is dangerous.

We need to consider that what we are talking with is a copy of heavenly items. Hebrews 8:5 which derives from Exodus 25:9 and honestly, you can't take the physical away from the spiritual and you can't take the spiritual away from the physical.

We are all part of the same body, and while some tend to be more spiritual, it brings a good balance to those who are more physical. Together, we form a perfect Body.
We can talk about it all being a "copy of heavenly items," but we would first need to layout just what that means. This has nothing to do with some being "more spiritual" and some "who are more physical". This is about proper interpretation of Scripture and not making it say more or less than it does.

Exodus 28:35 It shall be on Aaron when he performs the service, and its sound shall be heard when he enters the Holy before the Lord and when he leaves, so that he will not die.
Interesting huh? If the Lord doesn't hear the bells, the priest dies. This actually lends to what iLove was getting at in my humble opinion.
I really don't see how it lends to anything. It simply says what it says, and why the priest would seemingly die if the Lord didn't hear the bells. Another reading could be that the sound of the bells indicates he is wearing the robe, whereas if he wasn't, he would die. It has also been said that the priest would have a rope tied around his ankle and if the sound of the bells stopped, that is he died, he could be pulled out, since none could enter but the high priest.

What makes you any more right than others? I don't hear anyone rebutting your reasoning, because it is just that... Reasoning. And your allowed that.

You reason from the safety of what you know and understand to be true. Nicodemus did the same. You don't know why God commanded the pomogranits next to the bells, and as a copy of heavenly things, you don't know what they represent. How then can we speak of the heavenly things when we haven't figured out the earthly thing?.

Yet you would end the conversation before it began.

Brother, what I am asking is you allow other Christians the freedom to reason just as you have been given the freedom to reason.

iLOVE has shown to be devoted to the Lord, just as you have.

I could teach or say that differently.
