Is everyone a child of Christ?

I think the theme of the suffering servant shines through; compare 'took upon Him the form of a servant' (Philippians 2).
finnaly someone gets it. god uses metaphors that we can relate
kings , serveants, friends and sons. all those in their context are to be read and reasearched.

jesus reigns like a king in that he can raise up or tear down. he decides whom will live or die. we are like his sons in that we have a promise and are his subjects and also have limited authority. we are his friends in that he hides nothing that he feels we don't need to know. in those days seldom was a king or lord that close to his serveants and only told them what they need to know.
