What is God's perspective on "global warming?"

Why is Greenland named Greenland ?
The earth goes through times of cooling and warming... it is normal... How foolish for man to think he can control God's climates.
God gave his people dominion. we should be extremely respectful of that responsibility.
Different scientist will have different opinions

According to creation scientist there was an ice age that occurred as a direct result of the flood waters of Noah flood. As/after the flood waters receded the warm water would have condensed and evaporated.....causing the warm vapors to eventually precipitate over the poles forming the ice caps.
Is global warming really happening? Are the icecaps which were a byproduct of the flood still receding? If so would this be natural?

...is man helping it along? Well let me say this....before those in Paris condemn the USA, I suggest they take a long hard look at China and India...before redistributing the wealth of the American population.
 
I am certain it exists. Many people get hung on the fact that this happens naturally but miss the point. Science is not denying natural climate change, it is saying we are speeding it along. That's it. But if Kingdom Come arrives before it comes to pass it isn't really relevant.
 
While we certainly done a number on the atmosphere when it comes to pollution, it is pure arrogance to think we have any effect on how the earth warms and cools itself. It has been going through warming and cooling trends since it was created by God. Yes, we can certainly do something to make our air more breathable, but to think we can stop "climate change" is laughable.

10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.

11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.

If it is a scam, then it is a well believed one. I think regardless of it's merit, there is merit to reduce pollution, and how several smok induced cities are a place of diseases because of the smog.

If global warming is a sham, what of the technologies used to combat it. Green methods of making energy and making products. They shouldn't be thrown out with the bath water.

I'm not saying we should only that we can't realistically make anything without harming the earth.

it's kinda crazy. I drove across Texas and saw windmill after windmill...farm after farm....and people may say, look, that's a great use of the wind.....but the bird people are in an uproar because windmill blades and birds don't get along real well. You might be right..."we can't realistically make anything without harming the earth."

Much of my state isn't what it was.
 
I am reminded of a James Burke quote from the 1980s. (He's an atheist historian and tremendously good teacher - who can be mostly fair to religious views.) In "The Day the Universe Changed", he makes the point that going out and getting 'scientific data' (in this case, temperature readings around the world) does not really produce "raw data". No, what you do is you first decide what 'valid data' is and then you design instruments and techniques to gather the data.

But again, you set out to find what you wanted to find. Not surprisingly, it is easy to 'find' "a trend of ever higher temperatures" if that is what you want to find. What I am saying is that Global warming need NOT be a hoax to be untrue. There need be no conspiracy or hoax - we could be looking at honest, sincere attempts to investigate what could be a problem that STILL miss the mark without there being dishonesty.

I personally do not believe that most believers or all proponents of "global warming" or "climate change" are dishonest. I do believe they are profoundly wrong, but to constantly talk past one another by accusing all of them as dishonest is as offensive and wrong-headed as it is for them to accuse people like me of being "Deniers". All long as this intellectually confrontational and dishonest rhetoric is the norm, we will get no where, and both sides look like children.

Sure, the Paris thing is something that we, the USA, should IN NO WAY support. Even if I was convinced that mankind is killing the planet, I'd still assert that we should abandon it. ANY such money grab is obviously an exploitation of any actual science in the discussion.
 
Global warming is nothing more than fake science. It seems that their plans are the same as the pharmaceutical companies who get researchers to say what they want them to say concerning drugs.

I believe each country should try to eliminate poisons in the water supply etc.

God says he will bring about a new earth. He does not need the help of men. All the money in the world cannot cleanse this earth.
