Growth Is it a sin to fight over politics?

No doubt, I do believe we have very little control, if any at all. There have been votes in our state and county, where the voter has voted "no", but the state or county finds a way to do it anyway.

If we have so little control, why fight about it. It just seems too many people acted like big babies and still are.

I wasn't just trying to point out our lack of control. (When we don't have it). But that people have this loose feeling of control because of voting, when they really don't have any. The decisions made in our government aren't made because of us usually. They're made because someone has been placed in a position to make those decisions. The responsibility and burden placed on their shoulders. Judges, presidents, congress and a few other examples are the ones who shape the layout of how things work in the world around us. They have the power to contend with even eachother's decisions and reactions. Power plays, and writing the rules. Those are the real politics.

Leaders of a country make those power plays with one another, and usually have some legislative power to make or influence the rules as they are being made or changed. Congress holds the weight of making the rules, and this is where people really get ugly, because they fight and whine with eachother and largely don't get things done because of it. The things they do get done stick around though. Judges then have the power to uphold the laws and interpt the laws as they are written or as they are meant.

The only power a voting person has unless someone in real power gives them power by listening to them is the power to obey or to disobey the leaders and the rules. It's not much power at all. That said there are biblical figures that half a position of power in the political arena. Danial is a prime example.

Not sure, is is a sin for believers to fight over politics?

It seems to me that it would depend on the politics.
Socialism is an ideology which has as its goal the creation of a secular (atheist) utopia.
Every attempt at achieving this goal has failed and, in the 20th century, was responsible for more murders of civilians than the total number of soldiers killed in both world wars.
So being strongly opposed to socialism seems to me to be a proper attitude for a Christian.

Whether Christians vote or not is their choice. Let the ballot box speak if you vote. We are not protesters, picketers, we are ministers.
We have been given the greatest ministry of all 'the ministry of reconciliation.
We are not a wordly people , were a heavenly people. Keeping that in mind no matter what you are doing.
We are the salt and light, people need a light to come out of the dark.
The need to change the world has been perpetrated by religion. That will never happen, it is not the Fathers plan for the world.
Many have bought the untruth of conquering evil religionists propagate.
The world is perfect for what our Father wants.
Its plastic, one day He will be through with the world. Until then, sons/dauthers will be birthed to fill His house.
