Personally, I could care less what color Jesus' skin is...I only care about what He has done for me. However, there is still alot of speculation out there...what are your thoughts about it ?

Dont care.
But because im weird and want to state old stuff n facts

Didnt people prosecute black people back in them days?

Point over? Not sure if they did... or was that jews...
Maybe both.

Jesus of Nazareth, the historical Jesus, was a physical manifestation of God in the land of the Jews 2000 years ago. I'm sure he would have had eastern Mediterranean Semitic features. I doubt that God would appear as a blond blue-eyed Swede when manifesting Himself to the Jews of that time.

Jesus the Christ, the risen Lord, is consubstantial with Elohim, creator God of the universe, and no longer in human physical form.

Surely we need to try to answer sincere questions. And 'i' do not find this a speculation.:thumbsup Here is the last verse of Gen. 10 & the first verse of chapter 11 that have some good truths as 'i' see it for even the oft repeated saying of speaking in angels tongues. And even this time of God seperating earths people into a different race, we see another truth brought forth in Rev. 17:1-5. That of the Tower of Babel's mass confusion. (and these ones even are seen 'how' here in Rev.?)

[32] These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.

<hr>Gen.11

[1] And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.
[2] And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
[3] And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.
[4] And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
[5] And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
[6] And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
[7] Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
[8] So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
[9] Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

it seems to me that God didn't separate people by race during the tower of Babel incident, but by language. There doesn't seem to be any reference to race. Furthermore, I'm not seeing anything in Rev. 17...

I, like anyone else can't be sure what skin color Jesus had.... the best I can do is speculate, and I tend to think he was olive skin colored.

This is most likely where some differ from others? We all are made in the image of God with a thinking brain. Some use it & perhaps 'i' do not? Or maybe even over or under, use it?

For me as just an example here, I see Gen. 4:7 with God talking to both satan & Cain in the verse. And with God even giving Cain a second chance, and if he still would not lovingly obey?? He became satan's mature 'DESIRED ONE'. (meaning that he was now turned over to satan as his first convert) Now, that is how I see it.

Another example is that of abortion, it just seems like 'for me' to see any using a brain, that they would know that that is a sin!! Psalms 139:15-16.
Or even Psalms 135:13's 7th Day Sabbath Memorial enduring for 'ever'. (birthday of creation week)

Yet, it is all left between each person & God as seen in Eccl. 12:13-14 Ending. So just carry on with the Lords color?? Yet, 'i still find it hard to see all of us in different colors & being made in the 'IMAGE' of God at the start!:sad

In Revelation 4:3 He is described as having skin like jasper and sardius, which have a reddish/brownish color.

Here is a sardius stone:

View attachment 2360 Looks as if He is neither black or white. I believe Adam was described as having the same skin tone.

I would imagine this is micro-evolution at work.... Mankind was created with this skin tone and as people migrated throughout the world their skin tone changed according to what climate they were in and how much sun exposure over time.

Since this is what Jesus is described like in Revelation, after His resurrection into glory, it wouldn't surprise me if His before resurrection body was more of just the olive color of most middle eastern people.

The color of Jesus' skin is the color of any one who has His Spirit.

I would assume given his geographic location that he had a similar skin tone to those in Middle Eastern nations such as Iraq/Iran, etc....so brown could be a fair assessment :yes

Trust Felix! I think he can help.

I remember posting in some other thread and I had to search and I finally found it.

Ugly Vs Beautiful:

Color of Jesus is very sensitive topic and everyone whats Jesus skin color to theirs. It is an interesting subject to do research on but all must have the mentality of accepting that skin color has nothing to do with anything and every skin is carefully designed by the Creator with a purpose.
