  • Focus on the Family

    Strengthening families through biblical principles.

Focus on the Family addresses the use of biblical principles in parenting and marriage to strengthen the family.

There are quite old .

Probably the same principle, though. Just a long time ago. Personally, I somewhat favor the smaller congregation. I mean, the worship can be fantastic at a really big church, but the larger the church the more it becomes too... impersonal sometimes.

Kinda like the difference between city life and country life. For whatever you gain, you loose the closeness.

It's pathetic at times.

In 1925 there was within original town ,

First united Methodist,Vero Beach Baptist, grace Lutheran church , community Church and just west of them was the Catholic church

The population of Vero was not over two grand .

I would be able add two more churches by WW2.

First church of God ,and grace evangelical church ,

Many here have seen photos of the older sanctuary of these all .save grace Lutheran church .

I can point a four corner section of Monticello FL where four churches touch and are older !

Reactions: Hidden In Him
Reposted because I am looking for answers.

If someone claims to be an apostle or prophet how does one know they we sent by Holy Spirit?

What if they get 1 prophecy wrong?

What if they cant heal or raise the dead?

If these people are real, how come they are not as widely known as the original 12 apostles?

You would think they would be very influential within Christianity.

Where are those that interpret dreams, interpret real languages (tongues)?

Why is there no proof?

Elected, for one thing that would call for starting like six new threads, LoL.

But be patient. Maybe I can create a few in the not-too-distant future, and we can at least start in by addressing some of them.

Thanks, and God bless.
