Sorry Bill, what do you mean by absolutaly?. They are the same or different?.

I mean the Law of Moses is a misnomer. Thus, the two terms are interchangeable.

If the love God and others fullfill the commandments, where does holding the sabbath as 1 of the 10 fit into this?.

If I love God and others, how does that fullfill keeping the sabbath.

I'm late here and I'll read OB's answer in a minute but mine is,if I love I will keep the Sabbath. And yes, for many in a few Sects that opens a huge can of worms. In dealing with this answer we must remember what Jesus instructed the Samaritan Woman about worship and never become Legalistic. Jesus said to worship in truth and in spirit.

In my study the Holy Spirit has moved me to understand that the spirit of worship is all about God and for the Jewish Believer,different from a Jewish Person, the Sabbath is Saturday and though they perverted it and made it legalistic and thus about Works and finally because of their Work of not working on the Sabbath... about themselves.

And in the Christian perspective, Jesus died on Sunday. Jesus is the God of the Old Testament (John 1:1-3) and Jesus came to show us the truths of His Law and in spirit and truth find worshiping God on Sunday to bethe Spiritual Sabbath.

The Sabbath was a sign between God and Israel.
It was a commanded day of rest.
It's for Jews. (physical Jews, not "Spiritual Jews")

EX 31:14 " `Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it must be put to death; whoever does any work on that day must be cut off from his people.
15 For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day must be put to death.
16 The Israelites are to observe the Sabbath, celebrating it for the generations to come as a lasting covenant.
17 It will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever, for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, and on the seventh day he abstained from work and rested.' " (NKJV)
