The Word of God is certainly alive and well. If one seeks Christ in flesh and bone then I don't think what he taught made it's mark. Christ taught things of the heart. Seek and ye shall find had nothing to do with what can be seen but rather what can be known through the heart.
Some say God no longer speaks to people as He did with the prophets. Yet I hear His voice every time someone speaks His Word.
Having faith in things of the flesh was something else Christ didn't teach. If one seeks with the eyes or needs something that can be touched and handled then there will He not be found.

Actually sociology disagrees with you. Their are hundreds of Christian denominations. Which one would be the ruling one? How long before civil war breaks out because other denominations aren't recognized? how long before the Suppressed other religions and non religions fight back because their rights were taken way?

No, not until the return of Jesus. Man is always talking about how to make this place better, how are you going to do that without God. Man is always talking about stamping out crime, man ain't got that type of power. No there is no hope for America, I wish this country was a Theocracy. Don't know what a Theocracy is ? I don't think you know what you are asking for. Turning the US into a Theocracy would probably be the stupidest thing we could do to our country other than just nuking it. Very bad idea. I shouldn't have to tell you why this is a very bad idea. Countries have tried it and all of them have either failed and/or have subjugated their people as a result. Things like 9/11 happen in theocracies.

Jason I already know that without God it won't work. Sure they did things under the theocratic rule of Moses, but the crime was nowhere like today. Because you were dealt with. And you were dealt with quick. The USA is the porn capital of the world, the USA has more people in jail than any country in the world, the USA has more people killed in the streets per year, than any other country in the world, Secular rule ain't done to much.

Lewis w i long for the simple days of my youth, yes i know that we shouldnt think like that, but life back then was so simple, now its just plain crazy, porn was a thing you did in the dark or back allys, not in broad daylight or sent to you via the internet.
