New look, It's not half bad, but uh, is this final, or what? And, what about every post that was made after August 17?

I'm kinda thinking it's a permanent thing... As far as the posts from Aug 17 through early AM today, I'm trying to find out if they will be ported to this new board.

In the meantime, please go through your profile settings and make sure you agree with the default information and edit as needed.

It's not just posts, it's anything that has been updated after sometime on the 17th of August. The latest time is 10:33, so maybe 11am ir 12pm was the cut off date. Or heck, maybe even 10:33 was the cut off.
 
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Why is it that some people just don't get that?
 
It's broke now. I didn't see anything broke about the old system.
 
I understand. However, yes the old site has some indexing issues that maybe you were not aware of.
The owner of the site opted to switch the board over to V-Bulletin which as you and everyone else can tell is radically different. Yes, there are a few bugs to work out and we're all on a learning curve. Take this very thread for example, I was poking around and thought to myself, "I wonder what this button does".... and now I have to approve every post made in this thread before it's viewable.... And I can't figure out how to undo it.
Is it broke, or are we all at a learning curve? Maybe just a bit of both but we'll make it through this.

So, the rest of the forum is not moderated? Only this thread? (That is one of the things I asked about in the thread I made on problems, because I saw that posting here was moderated. I have not attempted to post in other places on the forum, but I did wonder if it was all moderated with the exception of the place to list problems, since that is the only place the spammers have been posting.)

Do me a huge favor would ya? Reply randomly to a few threads and let me know would ya?

Okay, I just start "bumping" in each. LOL I was having difficulty thinking of something to post in the next section on the list. Hahah.

Apologetics and theology is moderated..... is it supposed to be? I do realize some sections are supposed to be moderated.

I've got to run for the day so I'm not going to approve anymore "Moderated" posts.
Can you do me a huge favor and make a list of which forum's you're being "Moderated" on and send them to me, Rick and Vic via PM.
BTW, your settings are set to NOT recieve PM's... I think this is another default setting with the new board...

Thanks again for your assistance. Tomorrow I'll remove all your bumped posts unless another Mod cleans them up before I can.

I wasn't trying to be a dictator, but I specifically asked that the forums be as they were on the PHPBB site and gave a list of which forums were invitation only. I also asked that ONLY the first post of a new member be moderated for approval or disapproval. Rick and I did not see how to do that in the ACP.

I'm at a loss for words. This is a bit frustrating.

It's okay, Vic. I know that you all are not to blame for any problems. In another thread I began listing a bunch of other problems. I do need to add something though, :)
