Is Your Baby Gay? What If You Could Know?

I don't have any kids, but, if it happened, it probably wouldn't be a prob until the teenage years, and I would probably be the last to find out, as most teens hold their peers to be omniscient; however, if that's what he is, then that's what he is. Nothing I can do about it. I would, however, teach him to live an honourable life before God and others.

If he were to be an alcoholic would you just teach him to live an honourable life before God and others?

I believe a person is born homosexual; If that's what he is, that's what he is.

We are all born as we are in many respects. Some things are learned some are not. That's a given. What is as is and what is learned really isn't at issue as far as I'm concerned. The results are the same.
We begin life, all of us, on a level playing field, comdemned to death on the spiritual death row for our sinful natures. Not one is blameless, not one will be released for good behavior or bribe or due to the best attorney money can buy. And there's no appeal. We're locked behind the bars of our own jail cell destined to the same fate as the other guy. We all come into this world as sinners for nobody had to teach us how to lie, to steal, to make excuse or to lust after the flesh.

But there are those who choose to convince, persuade and teach their error is of no consequence, that their sin is not. For to do so God must be made a liar that His Word concerning sin in the past is of no effect in today's society, that His Word is not what it is, that He changed His mind on what displeases Him.

A person is "born" homosexual in the sense that one is born with a sinful nature.

I believe that there are triggers, or proliclivities (sp?!?) that we have in how our sinful nature plays out. In other words, I believe there are certain temptations that 'push our buttons' if you will.

However, when one accepts Christ Jesus - we have the promise that we can overcome those temptations.

Just because I am born with a sinful nature, now as a Christian, does not mean that gives me license to excerise it.

Just remember, regardless of being a Christian or not, there are still ramifications for our actions - one cannot say "the devil made me do it' - and expect no consequences.

I know this is off topic, but too often ''we'' give the devil credit for things ''we'' do...Ok, back on topic....
