Growth Is Your Heart Hardened?

"He who is often rebuked, and harden his neck, will suddenly be destroyed, and then without remedy." (Proverbs 29:1) NKJ

he Hebrew phrase for often rebuked is "a man of rebukes." This verse often refers to judgment on a person who stubbornly rejects God's correction. It is swift and final.

Have you hardened your heart toward God today? Remember Pharaoh in Egypt who hardened his heart toward God and God's people. What happened to him? His whole country, house, and army were destroyed. In fact, he was killed because he refused to listen to God and God's request to allow His people to go free.

How often do you reject God's pleas in your life? If you are then, in order to avoid God's judgment, give up now before things get worse.

Never think you will escape Gods wrath for turning away from him and worshiping other gods. Other gods are anything you put above God as in the material things of life that are more important to you than God.

Exo 32:7 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:
Exo 32:8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
Exo 32:9 And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:
Exo 32:10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.
