Bible Study it is written - why it is written ?

imho it seems the whole Bible is written so that we may just simply simply believe[Jn.20:31] - any comments - twinc
 
How do we simply believe by just reading words on a page as in any book we might read that tells a story. Our carnal minds and thought patterns have always been guided by that which we can physically see even though we might not always understand everything we see. Just as the Disciples at first only saw Christ as a Prophet Teacher they had no clue that He was the word (Spirit of God) made flesh to dwell among them. They questioned many things of what Jesus was teaching them, but never came to full knowledge and understanding until that of Pentecost when the very Spirit of God fell on them and opened their Spiritual eyes and ears to hear what the Spirit was speaking.

Simple faith is that of Christ Jesus revealing himself to us by the very Spirit of the word that we come to believe in Him and start having that personal relationship with Him. As it is written our carnal reads the story, but it is the Spiritual mind that understands and becomes obedient to what is instructed in that which was written.
