seriously. we even have the tree up, ornaments almost completely done, all that jazz. the weather is cold. we even got --snow--. not unheard of, but...whoa. when it happens, its a big deal.

what's going on in your part of the world?

Its hot here. I never get to witness a Winter Christmas.

I got cookies everywhere...
Home made candy and caramels.
Chocolate drips on every apron (that stuff gets on everything)
Parchment paper pieces in the corner...flour in the corners too and dusting everything in the kitchen. The sink is full of mixing bowls, cookie sheets and rubber scrapers. The fridge is full of cookie dough, butter and eggs. The dining room table is covered with cookies and cooling racks. Under the table has stacks of sugar, flour, chocolate chips, oatmeal, and powdered sugar. Of course I have gone through tons of stuff at this point so the stacks aren't as neat as I started with and about half the size.

The tree is safe though. It's got ornaments from my wife's, my, and my son's youth on it. Also included are ornaments from some of our adventures from around the world.

My chest of drawers is full of unwrapped presents instead of clothes.

Bah humbug! We don't do anything for Christmas.

Last Christmas I gave you my heart and the very next day you give it away.
