It's Not A Faith Problem, It's Your Unbelief-

This Brother speaks our language!
In my personal opinion.
In this video, among other things, the definition of faith, as defined by and in the Bible, has been changed to mean a conjured type of faith that produces the results that we desire. The Biblical usage in the Ephesians passage and MOST other places is specifically speaking of saving faith. The faith that contains the content pertaining to Jesus that is necessary for salvation. You take that out and you have nothing but man's own earthly wants and desires.

Jesus Heals a Boy with an Evil Spirit

(Matthew 17:14-21; Luke 9:37-42; Luke 17:5-10)

Matthew 17:20 20And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Luke 17:6 6And the LORD said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

The first time I heard Andrew Wommack speak a few years ago I knew he was a man truly anointed by the Holy Spirit. The problem with faith is that many do not realize Jesus is our faith and hope of eternal life. It's something that we can not work for as grace is a free gift of God to all who will receive. It's by faith we bring good works into the world by allowing the light of Christ shine through us.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

We didn't see God creating all things within the universe, but we can see the evidence of all He created. None of us has ever seen Jesus or heard Him speak, but yet we have evidence of the words God gave Him to speak as the indwelling Spirit of God teaches us all truths.

Application is very important. Taste and see that the Lord is good, Psalms 34:8. Be still and know I am Lord, Psalms 46:10. Study to show yourself approved of God, 2 Timothy 2:15.

Unbelief is a sin of having a wrong attitude that causes others to follow after the principalities of this world that defiles a man, Mark 7:15-23. Many refuse to believe in something if they can not use their five sense to prove something exist.

I began listening to Andrew prolly 20 years ago. Driving from job to job during the day sometimes. He was good back then but is just smoking now! His anointing is strong and he is really giving out some meat and tools for believers now. Scripture said that would happen!

I'm not sure if unbelief is a sin for believers though. I have heard Jesus speak to me, audibly, one time. And I knew His voice, just like scripture says we will. It wasn't the Holy Spirit, it was Jesus. When Jesus walks into the room...you know it! And as far as I can remember, I have never heard His voice before. But I knew it. I didn't even think about testing this Spirit. Later I thought, we are instructed to test them, and I didn't. And yet, no harm no foul because it was Him!.

Plus, I have had many conversations with the Holy Spirit. This is not audible. I don't hear him with my ears, or see Him, but it is Him. At first, it is a total faith thing. I'm driving, praying out loud (alone) and ask the Lord something...and a scripture will pop into my head, or what seems to be a thought, and I suspected this was our Lord, so received it as if it was and consider what was (said) the thought or scripture and ponder that as an answer to my prayer. So receive it as such and then answer to Him again. And I kid you not, it literally turns into a conversation! and it gets easier to hear His still small voice.

If I'm not sure, then sometimes I'll ask, is that you Lord? and wait and listen. I understand that most people will prolly think that I'm insane and hearing voices, and that's ok. Because I know it is real and we are told to look to the unseen, to believe without wavering and to disregard the world's unbelief.

Now, I ask you. As a guy who has heard God, and He has saved me, helped me, proven to me soo many times and ways...how could I ever have any doubts or unbelief? But I do at times.

I think it has to do with, the world is seen by us, and always doubts everything. and to even consider the possibility of the doubt invites unbelief to grow. The way to combat it is to stop it immediately and refuse it to even be heard or pondered. Rather to (speak it) stand on the word of God in scripture. That's also why it is very important to read His Word every day.

and less and less television!

I know! I think scripture says that we all got the measure of faith. So the amount is prolly equal for all. But some people seem to have more faith than others. Prolly not more faith, but less unbelief than those who seem to have less faith or get less prayers answered. So...Lord help my unbelief.
