Jessie Jackson and Rush Limbaugh

How is it that The "Rev." Jessie Jackson and his allies can conduct a racist and vindictive campaign to deny Rush Limbaugh his right to purchase part of the St. Louis Rams and no one says a word?

Albeit Rush Limbaugh has said some very hurtful things about non-whites in the past. He has also said just as hurtful things about whites. Jackson has been allowed to deny Limbaugh his right simpply by playing on the unimformed opinions of the public. Anyone who has listened to Limbaugh with an open mind may not agree with him but can none the less come to the conclusion that he is not a racist.

Jackson on the other hand has said clearly racist words in the past but no one seems to be pointing this out and acting accordingly. He is also lying.

Check out these videos.

reverse racism is ok to the media :screwloose , i think that's bull but that's the way it is.

It's as I always said. Most people do want equality and even treatment for all, but a handful of trouble makers want more than that. They want revenge even though the people that committed horrible acts against their ancestors are long since dead and buried.
I just can't see how perpetuating racism evens the scales? I know very loving people, on both sides of the issue who are sick and tired of being blamed what things they had nothing to do with and would never condone.
I know whites who are losing their patience and giving in to hatred, not becaue of race but because of the unfairness of it all.

Have you ever heard God or Jesus use the word race ? Is that word in the Bible ? No, because that word is mans garbage from the 1930's, it is a word that keeps us apart, I am tired of that word from both sides black and white. Acts 17 :26 says from one blood God made all nations of men. Did it say 2 bloods ? I am tired of dumb stupid ignorant people thinking that we come from 2 bloods. Black this, white this, black this, white this, I am sick of it, and the people who keep this dumb stupid stuff going, that has no place in the kingdom of God. We we are supposed to mix that is how all the lovely different colors of people take place. God doesn't have a problem with it, because he created us all to be equal. But stupid man has a problem with it.

I believe all the references to Jews and Gentiles would be considered references to race.

It does not refer to the color of skins, because back then people did not care about the color of your skin, gentiles were heathans, and the Hebrews were God's people. Some think that the statement had something to do with color though. But back then people mixed all the time, just like you can mix colors when painting to make other colors from certain basic colors and you get some beautiful colors out of the mixing. The same goes for humans, He put basic human colors here and when mixed the most beautiful colors, tones, shades, come out of it. If God meant for us not to mix, a person of color, could not get a white girl pregnant and vise versa, because God would have put a lock on it so that we could not. But God loves for His creation to mix, and it was meant to be from the beginning.

Amen, brother! :clap

I second that.

I am as tired of all the race baiting as anyone else. I started out in this life a innocent, and I saw no distinction between the races but those around me forced their biases into my life. I remember playing on the street one day, and this little black boy about my age came over and we played together.
One of my older cousins saw him and he came over and chased that little boy away.
He had been polluted by older kids and he tried to pollute me. I defended the little boy and was mad that he wasn't allowed to play with me. I have defended people's right to equality ever since.
I held the attitude that we are all equal throughout my life and I resent when inequality is perpetuated by the very people who know just how much it hurts to be treated unfairly. And I feel betrayed when it is perpetuated on me
Nothing will ever change until someone decides to be bigger than rhetoric and dogma and let the past go!

Walter I was stabbed in the Army, on the Fort Benning living quarters , by a E-6 because he did not want my son playing with his son, my 2 friends were standing next to me one a E-5 and one a E-4, and my wife was in the house. And even though I had 2 witnesses and he had none, a all white jury of sergeant majors acquitted him. My USMJ captain lawyer was more mad than I was. They sent for me after I had got out of the Army and flew me back to Georgia for the trial, and put me up in a motel. My USMJ lawyer told me to get him in civilian court, but I was to involved in drugs at the time, in 1980 and 81 to care, the wound was about almost 2 inches below my heart, my said she could see my heart beating through the hole.

Correction, it was a little bit higher than 2 inches, about a inch below my heart.
