You folks should spend most of your time here talking about Jesus Christ and his Father who sent him. Instead, you spend most of your time talking about the Bible, don't you? Why?

Is not the Bible the inspired word of God that teaches us who He is!!!

And,

“Joshua 24:15 as for me and my house we will serve the Lord
……………………………

The Hebrew OT and Greek NT texts are what we must use to find “the inspired word of God that teaches us who He is!!!”

Any Bible translation must be compared to these texts to see if it has been accurately translated.

For example, your quote of Joshua 24:15 is not the “inspired word of God!!!”

What it literally says in the Hebrew OT text is:

ואנכי
וביתי נעבד
את־יהוה׃

“but I and household of me we will serve YHWH” which is better translated as “but as for me and my household we will serve JEHOVAH [or ‘Yahweh’ or even ‘Yehowah’].”

The Hebrew does NOT use “Lord” nor “the Lord” [adonai] in this verse (or the 6000 other uses of YHWH found in the Hebrew OT text)!!!

If we are serious about learning the knowledge of who God really is, we certainly should not delete the only personal name He has given us and substitute a mistranslation in its place!!!

In your opinion elijah23, how do we find out the things to speak of when it comes to the Son and His Father?

Young's Literal Translation
Jos 24:15 and if wrong in your eyes to serve Jehovah--choose for you to-day whom ye do serve; --whether the gods whom your fathers served, which are beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorite in whose land ye are dwelling; and I and my house--we serve Jehovah.'

No we don't. If we were talking about the Bible we would be talking about how, when, where, and why the Bible was written. What writings, codex', etc. the Bible was translated from. What years the different books and epistles were written in, etc. etc.

We talk about the words and the teachings from the Father and from Jesus Christ, those before the cross and after the cross.
The Bible is the Word of God.
