JESUS' BIRTH - WHY?

I was just thinking: Why did JESUS have to be born? HE could have at least come as an Adult, a kind of an Angel or whatever, and maybe many would have listened to HIM more.

I think, one of the reasons some doubted HIM was that the people knew HIM right from childhood. They saw HIM grow. Suddenly HE told them HE was CHRIST, the SON of GOD etc.

If I tell you guys that I am GregHead, or equal to him, and this site also belongs to me, you guys will think I'm insane. reba will phone up the police immediately, Lewis W will instantly disable my account. Why? They know I just joined the site, I became a member just last year. Then what makes me equal to the site owner?

Isn't Classik insane? Why did Classik say: I and GreyHair sorry...GregHead are equal? Are Felix and some few others not almost Classik's mate?

Let's ask Jesus:
(John 18:37) Pilate therefore said to Him, "Are You a king then?" Jesus answered, "You say [rightly] that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice."
Ans: To be a king and bear witness to the truth.

Why King?
(John 18:36) Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here."
Ans: Because He has a kingdom.

So What?
(Eph 5:5) For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
Ans: Because He has given inheritance for us in His kingdom.

Inheritance? What inheritance?
(Rev 3:21) "To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. (Rev 2:27) 'He shall rule them with a rod of iron; They shall be dashed to pieces like the potter's vessels' -- as I also have received from My Father;
Ans: To sit with Christ on His throne and rule with rod of Iron.

So, in summary, Christ came to this world to make us kings and rulers over heavens and earth and to rule with Him from His throne.

Thanks, Felix. I was actually trying to know why HE had to be born. HE didn't come as an Adult. And one of the reasons some doubted HIM was that they witnessed HIS childhood. So once HE proclaimed HIMSELF as KING or the SON of GOD most of the people disagreed with HIM.

He had to be a normal 100% man for Him to be eligible to die and face death as a man. You can look at my signature 'Why did Jesus had to die'?

What makes you so sure that many would have listened to Him more is He had came as an Adult or Angel ?

Skeptics will always exist whichever way Christ had been introduced to the world. Not that I'm saying you're a skeptic (you're an skinquisitic .. :D )


If He had been born and grew up a normal child, skeptics ask why didn't appear as an adult or angel ... if He had appeared as an adult or angel, skeptics will ask why He didn't born as a child, if He was hung on a tree, skeptics ask why not shoot him or stab him, if He had been shot or stabbed or slaughtered, skeptics again ask why wasn't He hung on a tree or something .... and the list of possibilities for die-hard skeptics goes on ...


As early as Genesis 3:16, God had already pointed to the birth of Christ. It's His call and sovereignty.

But seriously, even if you tried to scare us with a spooky angelic appearance, would it convince us that you're equal to the site owner ?

Maybe Greghead will engage the services of an exorcist ....

Yeah though.

Everything recorded in the bible about CHRIST has a very strong Spiritual significance. And it takes people who are matured in the Spirit to understand Spiritual things. (Just recently I learnt there was no burning bush at all - i.e Moses was before no real physical burning bush. You can imagine that). Felix's post and link have clarified something here.


And I agree with you, Skeptics would have still doubted HIM if HE had come as an adult. Sons of guns! The children of Israel doubted God even after God had performed wonderous signs to prove HIS power to them.

And thanks for your input, Felix and Tina. You have given a well FeliTinated reply. Although one musn't comprehend all details, yet, I have a superb felixtinationed gratisfaction.
