For many years now, I have depended upon Jesus and His Spirit find an article that is lost. You might find this a little silly and probably just coincidence, but I've tested this over and over.

Yesterday, I went out to use my snow blower because of a snow storm that left about 3 inches of snow/ice. I started my faithful snow blower and started out. Shortly, one wheel stopper it's traction, as I can undo a clamp to make it easier to turn. What happened was the clamp that does this had fallen off at some point in my yard.

I looked and looked and couldn't find the clamp. I went inside my house to warm up, and later came out and looked again, no luck. I went to the location where the snow blower is stored. No clamp. I decided to look over the area that I had cleared again, only this time, I remembered the many times that I have asked Jesus to find it.

I simply said, "Jesus will you please help me find that clamp?" I moved out about 3 feet, saw a slight dark spot in the edge of the path, with my foot, moved the dark spot out and lo and behold, there was the clamp. Praise the Lord!

I know that for the rest of the morning, I was so filled with joy over the finding of the clamp that I kept praising Jesus almost continually. Hey, it works!! Try it next time you loose something....I have had this happen to me lots of times and Jesus comes to my aid. Yep? It works.

Amen, Chopper

I'm a firm believer is seeking His guidance, including for those times when I'm trying to locate something. (For some reason, there are just too many 'safe places' in my home!!)

Matthew 7:7 states: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." (NASB)

Our Lord is true to His word!

Luk 12:27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

I pray all the time for things that many (most?) might consider minor, or selfish. Driving...I'll pray that I avoid accidents. I got the beginnings of a flat tire once, fairly recently. My car is weird...the last time I had a flat, my dad had to take it to a pro, because it was impossible for mere mortals to change it out w/ basic equipment. Anyway, I prayed that I'd make it home OK, without major problems. And...God was kind enough to see me home safely, nothing too terrible happened.

So...I can relate. I remind myself that God isn't my "Do-Boy" (fine Southern expression right there, lol), but at the same time...I need all the help I can get, personally.

I think sometimes we forget just how close Jesus is to us. Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Wow! What a Truth. Jesus the Son of God, claimed my body at Salvation for His residing place, His Temple is my body. Can you believe that? Jesus sent His Holy Spirit into my being, my heart, soul, and body. Where ever I go, He's there. What ever I'm doing, He's there. Whenever I'm at work, He's there with me. Not only that, our Heavenly Father has chosen at least one Angel to help us....
Hebrews 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

I will never forget this incident. While I was in Bible College, I had a part time job in a gas station. My Boss let me work on a few cars. A fellow classmate was taking a long trip and he had a bad drive shaft universal joint. In taking out the new joint, one of the caps fell off and most of the needle bearings fell out when it hit the floor.

We put the bearings back into the cup and, yea you guessed it, one was missing. We looked and looked all over the floor but couldn't find this little needle bearing. At least an hour passed searching for the lost bearing, no luck. All at once, my classmate Ed and I at the same time said "lets ask Jesus to find it" so we prayed a short prayer. I looked down between my feet and there it was. I starred at it in disbelief. I asked Ed to look down between my feet and tell me what you see. We both started shouting "Praise Jesus, Praise Jesus.

O my friends. Can we fall in love with Jesus today? Hey, I know that you all love Jesus, but sometimes married people will renew their vows. Will you, along with me, renew our commitment to our Savior Jesus?....PRAYER..Dear Jesus, I love you so very much and today I just want you to know that, by faith, I renew my love for You. You have never left me or forsaken me. You're always in me and I want You to know just how much I depend and trust in You. Thank You for saving me and indwelling me. I LOVE YOU JESUS, amen.

It most certainly works!

I find myself doing this all the time.

I think I find that, an amazing practice of God's Children. I think that trusting our Savior to accomplish a task that seems impossible for us and silly to call upon our great God and Savior to humble Himself to find an object that we lost is simply amazing.
