@12 yrs he entered the synagogue and taught the elders as a jewish custom.. bar mitzah
on the cross .. romans called him king of the jews

HE REMAINED AS A JEW BUT HE DIED FOR THE WORLD, even a gentile, a CENTURION SOLDIER affirmed THAT CHRIST " is the messiah."

ALTHOUGH HE IS KING OF KINGS...

Well, I don't think it matters if you're a Jew or Gentile, as long as you have a relationship with Christ through Jesus, you know? I mean, peoples' interpretations of how we should worship aren't the point of us being God's followers.

Religion and faith have a lways been confused. Yes, Jesus did not come to earth to MAKE a new religion. He came here to save the world from sin. Nothing more...nothing less.

I was talking with a woman at work shortly after I started there last year. We were brushing on topics of faith matters, and she looked at me like I came from another planet and asked, "Are you religious?"

I sat without response and a stunned look on my face for sure, both because of the question, and the "I can't believe you'd be one of those!) tone on her voice.

1. I don't consider myself "religious". I consider myself passionate for Jesus and after God's Heart. I wince when people say "religious" in the context of Christianity.

2. It's not a disease, so what's with the tone?

After regrouping myself to respond, I said, "I am a Christian. I don't think I'm religious." and then went on to explain the difference in my opinion.

Religion is man's search for God. I'm a Christian, I am not "searching" for a God. God came searching for me.

But did Jesus come to make a new religion (i.e. to make a faith other than Judaism)? Nope, Jesus Christ fits 100% into the Jewish faith, the fact is, though, that many Jews do not accept Jesus as their Christ. Some do are they are called Messianic Jews.

I don't think Jesus came to make a new religion or to shatter the Jewish one, He came to FULFILL the Jewish religion and bring all the Jews and all the Gentiles to God. Evidence of His fulfillment of the Bible is that the sacred place where the Jews sacrificed has been destroyed, and God said that they'd have this place until it was no longer needed, and once Jesus became the Savior, it was no long needed. However, many Jews denied Jesus and so the followers of Jesus had to start a new movement.

Mike,

I agree, 100% :thumb

That is my response - my passion is for Christ, and God, the Father.
