Jesus Sparks Controversy

So why are they fighting the decision? Wouldn't that preclude the image is a false god?

There is no picture on earth, of Jesus, as He Was, in the flesh.
While this is true, it's no excuse to force pictures that everyone knows represent Him into a closet to be hidden somewhere. It doesn't matter that we don't know exactly what he looked like. What matters is that we are not forced to hide Him while other religions are not forced to hide by the government.

I would have no cause to stake any position of faith in Christ on what we all know is a false picture of Jesus.

It's a horrible way to make a statement of faith.

Just start with Learning about Nimrod, his nations, and what he has spawned. Was the church the state was with really the "church"? I'd start a thread on these concepts, but this site doesn't seem to cool with discussing prophecy.
I still have no clue what you are talking about or how this relates to the picture of Jesus. Seems it's just causing confusion for the rest of us. Why not just speak clearly in stead of causing confusion?

Repeat, no one claimed it is.
Then why go to war over a false picture? It makes zero sense. When I look at a picture of Jesus, I see a picture of somebody's imagination. Is there some kind of profitable end game going that direction, after someone's imaginations?

Why would this be considered any kind of battle other than a personal right to exhibit a piece of imaginary art?

"God is not the author of confusion..." (1st Cor 14:33a)

God is not the author of confusion.

Satan is. Babylon in Hebrew is Babel, meaning confusion. Satan is the god of this world and its governments, which hate the Father and the Son (Psalm 2).

Only evolution, with transhumanism kicking in, will have us think that "that which is above is the same as that which is below'... macrocosmos is the same as microcosmos. The universe is the same as God, God is the same as man, man is the same as the cell, the cell is the same as the atom, the atom is the same as...and so on, ad infinitum." (Gen 3:5).

It's an expression of faith though. There are several kinds of decorative ways to express a person's beliefs, culture, or even history. With our faith I know people wear crosses as jewelry, have fish with the word Jesus in it on their car, or have verses and quotes from the bible or religous figures artfully made and hung in walls. Each of these are an expression of a person's faith. The art of Jesus is too. I don't think it counts as an idol unless it becomes part of our worship, or draws us away from our worship. But that's just my opinion on the topic.

Then, in the realm of civic, read: NOT CHURCH matters, ALL PEOPLE of every faith, even SATANISM, should be able to hang there own relics and imaginations, right next to the imaginary picture of Jesus.

I would never allow any my children to be taught about Jesus from anyone else, but Jesus. The last place I would want to see them indoctrinated from is by the STATE! That is just insane.

We should do this and leave it to God to do the idol smashing.

God’s smokin’ foes and tricksters/
Graven images get left as broken pictures/
No forgiveness for a Jehovah’s Witness/
Some only think of Christ when it’s close to Christmas!/
Because demons on a mission steaming up your vision/
Our Redeemer’s up and risen/
Listen, yo we’re screaming on religion/
Because no one is saying nothing/
While runaways are running/
It’s funny how some just stay fronting/
Knowing Judgment Day is Coming!!!/
When the Master of the Bible/
Gonna blast you like a rifle/
Snatching all your titles/
Laughing while He’s smashing all your idols!/
The first to go is buddha/
Christ, the Universal Ruler/
Searching through your files like a personal computer

I read the article. I didn't see anything about the school teaching religion or doing any kind of "indoctrination". All I see is an ungodly atheist group imposing their hatred of God on the rest of us who do not hate Him. Even in the article it stated that the picture has been there for many years and no one had a problem until now, when one atheist decided to make an issue and force his will on everyone else. If hanging a single picture on a wall is anyone's idea of all it takes to teach others about Jesus, well, all I can say is I sure wish it WAS that easy.

There are Jesus people in public school too ya know. If we stay out of public schools, then who is going to be the salt and light for those people? Most people have to go to public school anyway.

I would say let the atheists HANG THEIR OWN PICTURE, which would be a picture of NOTHING! :lol
