It is said that the Sunni Muslims are the most radical. The Sunni have been suppressing the Shia, to keep them from having a voice in matters of government. Each side believes that they will be the one that will rise to inherit the Earth. Should America supply the Shia with weapons so they can defend themselves against the Sunni?
