Praying for you and your co-workers! I know you've been worried about this for some time.
This is terrible news but hopefully everyone can bounce back quickly.

prayers are appreciated i have went over scriptures in my mind prayed specific . psalms says evening morning and noon pray ..i wake up in the night praying roughly 125 lay offs . find out later in the week. i am looking at trying go back my old job . dont like jumping ship but it is busting out at the seams royal oak charcoal plant . dirty dusty job . not afraid get dirty it will take a while to readjust praying about that to thanks to all

please keep us all posted. im glad you have a work-able plan b. i'll keep your co-workers up in prayer, too...not easy for anybody, clearly.

Royal Oak charcoal? We get that up here! Can you reserve your spot and keep your seniority at your current job by voluntarily going on layoff? I bet your bosses would understand your concerns and be happy to oblige ...

yes seniority would stay but call back would be what ever shift what ever dept... i put 20 years in at royal oak lol i know the job inside and out it would take me few days get back to the way use to work

NO at this point call back time is unknown we would have to ship half our inventory in a matter of months we are talking a number of at least 400 thousand engines ..that equal 400 thousand push mowers ..small engine sales are low commercial engines are selling .this is the big 20 h.p or bigger .we don't make them

while I cant say I have been where you have been with this, I was nearly laid off about 6 years ago, I had to switch to meter reading because of this and with the retirement of Roger from fleet and his position eliminated. the idea of me turning wrenches again is a closed door unless God says otherwise.

Lord, I pray that ezra can remain employed here at briggs and Stratton. I also pray for those that are laid off . in your name Jason.

I ask for prayer for these three, basil(yall have prayed for him in the route thread I mention ), luis, and billy. these three will be either unemployed or working for fpl. for now the city will employ them until the sale is completed.

fairly certain the lay off will not get me. its small possibility of having go 3rd shift i do appreciate your prayers . i have missed like 3 or 4 lay offs in 11 years .those who have been there my guess round 3 years will be laid off .it all dpends on the numbers my badge # is 45909 so the 46 and up will be effected for sure ..keep praying :pray:pray

ok. if you read that link, yeah its gonna be chaotic here, I have got over time this check and the next one I will 5 hours and likely will have more in August. looks like we will have to hire another one as we have lost basil for the meter shop, he will go to fpl and that was his way , they pay him to shut of water and electric. if it wasn't selling I would have applied.

It's Briggs & Stratton mowers? I must've missed that. I own one of your mowers, Ezra.

My dad said don't run anything but Premium gas in it, or it wont last long. I asked my Brother if he ever heard of that and he said, yes, but dad had it backwards, that premium will burn it up or whatever and the point is...don't use premium, but regular...Who's right?

What is the recommended fuel for my mower?
It's a MTD Series 300, 125cc mower (20")

mid grade and no ethanol

I do have some experience on small engine repair and that is across the board. you could years ago use regular gas before the ethanol crap. it eats carbs

mid grade and no ethanol

No gasahol? That's good info Brother, thanks. Is there a minimum octane that I should use? (or a max octane that I shouldn't go past?)
