Bible Study John 6:66.....(666 ? )

I challenge you to provide me with the name of a Bible version where your 'facts' are correct. Truly, I want to be enlightened and use the correct version.
I use the King James Version .....with the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, to look up 'all' scriptures, regarding any one subject matter.

The number 666 is identified that someone that is serving Satan thinking that they are a child of God but they're not or someone that is outside of the church world who doesn't believe their is a God.

Revelation 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

Revelation 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number [is] Six hundred threescore [and] six.

Just as God has a sealed on his servants forehead is a figure of speech identifying them being a child of God. From the beginning of time up until the end of the world God's people our identified by his mark.

Revelation 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

All the elect will be sealed with the promise of redeemption throughout the ages of this world until Judgment comes upon the whole world. Those who are not sealed by God in their foreheads are in serious trouble

I hope this helps

Hi there!

As always, the best translation is the Bible that translates into life.

I think the point Jay T keeps missing is that the original scriptures as inspired by God, contained no chapter or verse designations.

They were added by man many centuries later. Many of the chapter and verse breaks were pretty much arbitrary. There's nothing wrong with them, but they definitely have no pattern or hidden meaning to them.

Reading the best translaation alsways depends on which language a person can read!

No use giving the KJV to a Thai who only reads Thai!

Well then your 'facts' about the center book and verse of the Bible are wrong. Count the chapters and verses yourself if you don't believe me.
