1 Corinthians 6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. 18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

1 Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. 14 For the body is not one member, but many.

1 Corinthians 12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

Your physical body is not the temple of the Holy Ghost as our flesh is as a filthy rag to God, Isaiah 64:6, and the Holy Ghost can not dwell in the sinful flesh

In the KJV when Paul says "your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost" in the original Greek the "your" is second person plural. He didn't mean one person's body. He meant the collective body of believers. Thy, thine and thou is talking about one person. You, ye, your or yours is talking about plural.

We are not individually the body of Christ and so the same as each one of us is not the temple of the Holy Ghost. The body of Christ is the Bride of Christ where the Holy Ghost dwells as the Holy Ghost is to infinite to fit in our physical body and is not divided to dwell in each one of us.

The Greek word body is used literally, figurative and spiritual in the NT. In the verses I gave refers to the spiritual body of Christ as being the collective body of believers. We are all the body of Christ and the temple of the Holy Ghost in unity.

What defiles the man is not what goes into his mouth, but that which comes out of his mouth, Matthew 15:10-20. We should never judge a brother or sister in Christ as that is God's place to do so as only He knows our hearts. Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, (Only using this part of vs 16 to make a point). I would also say do not judge one if they smoke or drink as who can pluck anyone out of the hands of Christ.

Romans 14: 13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
