Just what you needed - another Texan!

Hello Everyone:

My name is Rich. I'm 35 and I live in San Antonio, Texas with my wife, Anna, and two kids, Savannah, 9, and Christian, almost 3. We have another baby due in September.

I accepted Jesus in 2007 (Woo-Hoo!) and have walked with the Lord ever since (though I sometimes wander off, he always takes me back).

Because of my job, it is very difficult for me to get to worship regularly. I drive a charter bus and I have no set schedule, no set days off, I'm expected to work at any hour of the day, and I cannot refuse assignments. Our busiest time is FRI-SAT-SUN, so I generally miss Sunday worship. Wednesday is 50-50.

I try to be a good spiritual head of our family. My daughter thinks I should be a Pastor because I "know so much about God" and I "talk about him a lot!" Ahh, to have the eyes of a child. Of course, I am relatively uneducated but I learn more each day as I read, discuss, and share God's word.

I have participated in several other forums for a long time (mostly gun forums, I'm in Texas, remember!?) and I thought it was time to extend my fellowshipping online. I look forward to contributing what I can here, but I know that I will receive far more benefit here than I can give. Hopefully it will balance out over time.

Most importantly, I love the Lord and I'm grateful to tears that he has saved me even though I don't deserve it. He loved me so much that he did for me what I could not do for myself. Thank you Jesus!

- Rich

P.S. Attached is an older picture of my family. We are waiting for the new baby to get a new one taken.

You know what they say about Texans? You can always tell a Texan. You just can't tell him MUCH! :rolling
