Kicked Off Plane

Student kicked off Southwest airlines flight for refusing to take off Comedy Central shirt he got at SxSW festival

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ing-F-word-Comedy-Central-shirt-got-SxSW.html

My wife is a flight attendant with Southwest Airlines. When a cabin crew member tells you you'll have to leave the plane, you leave the plane. The captain and security will support the crew member and I'm glad to see the company will support them as well...they did the right thing.

I agree he should been kicked off. But now what does freedom of speech have to say about it ? Can he put up a fight over this ? In America yes, you can sue for anything.

The crew of an American Airlines flight once removed a passenger after others complained of his strong body odor, said Tim Wagner, an airline spokesman. The passenger was given a voucher for a nearby hotel and returned for a later flight after he had bathed.
WOW

I suppose asking him to take it off and wear it inside out was out of the question.

I couldn't get the link to load past my security wall and was going just by comments and the thread headline. Thanks.
Yes, he deserved to be kicked off. What did he think refusal was going to otherwise accomplish? Silly boy.

Talk about sending a message to future passengers.

You should do what the company ask you to do on their property. No question.

Now if Walmart would adopt the same policy.

I just ate so I could only stomach a little of that video. Eegads.
If Walmart did try to enforce a dress code and with their bank, they'd be sued on all kinds of grounds no doubt. Racism, sexism, homophobia, gender phobia, etc...

(Edited out YT Walmart video. Good suggestion Gary.)

Is that video for real, if so what is going on' on this planet, wow I a, speechless on this one.

My son is a manager at Walmart here in the small town of Branson, MO. The police are at our Walmart every day, and he seen the youtube video's of "The People Of Walmart" People come in once in awhile not fully dressed, or dressed way out. I am sure it's not as bad as the large Cities, but He has seen some stuff.

this guy here robbed both our walmarts, no mask, nothing.

he even Gave the cashier his name, and posted on facebook afterward about what he did.

Even the robbers of Walmart are not so bright.

My son was off that night.

He says Walmart has a policy to let folks walk out with stuff until they build up past a 500.00 limit to ensure a felony conviction. They have camera's all over.

Walmart has a new policy to be polite, even if your walking out with a nice 30" TV. They also don't care if you price match (Beef at .90 cents a pound) as long as you buy other stuff at normal prices.

I went to buy 10 packs of magic cards and just mentioned that the sale price was 1.99, not 3.99. Well, they by mistake put the wrong price on there, but the lady was insistant that I get them for free since I was inconvenienced. I never mentioned being inconvenienced, or mentioned wanting them free. I just took them, I gave up and should have never mentioned it.

Wow. The Walmart in my hometown opened as a super Walmart after being the regular type store for years. They bought land, constructed their new store, went round and round with the good-old-boy network in zoning and finally after paying them enough, got to open their doors. Less than a month after that they fired 17 employees for theft. Big ticket electronics, and all. The employees knew where the camera's were and consequently how to avoid them.

Fired! No arrest. Fired!
Meanwhile, just before they moved out of the old store there was a young boy dressed for prom, it was prom night so that's how we knew why he was in the fancy duds, being walked out of the store in cuffs.
His crime?
He was caught by walking security trying to steal a single condom out of a box in that department.
They'd called his mother who was walking behind him weeping.

The Walmart in my hometown has prosecuted people who on a dare thinking security was lax stole the eraser off the top of a #2 pencil.
No kidding.

In Florida where I lived for many years the police I knew said Walmart is the most loathed retailer in the entire State because they clog the system prosecuting anyone who steals any little thing.

So if things are different in your areas that's news to many who live with Walmarts in ours.
