Lady Gaga's Judas -- Spreading the Occult Gospel

Yeah Tony said that they would see the album covers like Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, and they would say to each other we did not authorize this, but the contract that they signed without reading the fine print gave Warner Bros the rights to do just about what they wanted. And when they did learn a little about the business it was to late because they were locked into the contract. And on the interview that I had on VHS tape, they flat out denied being satanic and did not like being labeled as such. This is Lewis W reporting, for the Lewis W, Musical Daily News, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

What should be done about "lyrical irresponsibility" in general?
I will treat this as a "what can be done?" question:

Probably even less than can be done for preventing minors from getting drunk and getting criminals, rapists, and murderers off the streets (which can at least all be enforced or prosecuted by law). Back in the day, and I mean early to mid 1900s, we actually had censorship for vulgarity in music and film. Now in the interests of free speech we have gone to the opposite extreme and now you can find any movie or music that suits your particular tastes (with a "permissive" rating/warning system), no matter how vulgar (and sometimes vulgarity itself is very the reason for watching or listening to it now). Just because there is a horror genre in film, for example, doesn't mean that I have to watch any horror films though. At this point I think we are beyond censorship of the inappropriate (porn is a multi-billion dollar industry) and really all we can do is refuse to participate & contribute by not consuming bad music and videos. Activism is possible but possibly not all that effective.

You want to know the real answer though(?) - and Churches have even been calling and praying for this for a long time now too: we need another Great Awakening in America. We don't need a "revival" (how can you revive something which was never alive/existed to begin with?) we need an awakening to God's purpose for man on earth as stewards of His Kingdom. As the spiritual condition of a people or nation fares, so goes the culture. America is increasingly becoming, and has been, a morally loose culture. I can't help but think of the fate of Rome when thinking of America, unless we truly have another Great Awakening.

My :twocents.

God Bless,
~Josh

I don`t listen to her music, but I think she`s the person that lets people pass her around nude and is openly bisexual. In such a case, I don`t think anything that comes out of her music should even be given the time to analyze as a Christian. Her behavior should scream out for Christians to run from her influence. If she straightens her act up then her music could be taken more seriously by the Christian community in my opinion. Personally I live in Japan so I`d never heard of her until my Japanese niece who is in the music industry told me about her so I watched an interview of her on Larry King before he went off the air and I saw one other interview of her and that was all I needed to know. I didn`t need to hear her music to realize what she was about. I`m just sorry that her influence is global. It`s not restricted to just America.

And don`t get me started on rap. I don`t listen to that either and told my niece who doesn`t know English that the words coming out of these American rappers mouths are horrible towards women, but she and other Japanese girls listen to this garbage. It`s sad to me that America is exporting this garbage to the world when it should be a Christian light to the world and many foreigners still think of America as a Christian nation so it is not a good witness at all.

Good grief. And just when I thought she couldn't get any more distasteful.
she cant sing properly so she needs to compensate somehow for it with media gimmicks. If she was a really gifted singer she wouldn't need to sing through the voice machine all the time. .. And she would recieve acolades for her talented singing not her gimmicks.

Look at this brilliant singer who don't need gimmicks like lady gaga does. she is many times her superior voice wise. but does not get the same attention because she hasnt sold her soul to the media.

And for those of you trying to purge Lady Gaga music (which is very understandable) from your memory-

not all is bleak in the music industry... if you look hard you can find!

I found the Thompson twins cover a couple of days ago and thought I would help her and put it in here. I think its only fairly new.

Yes, I agree that Christians should not listen to her music. However the analysis is not for Christians alone. It may be a necessary thing to provoke thought in non-Christians to reevaluate their own music tastes as well.

he he you put that very diplomatically, better than I did.

Were not talking about her in praise of here singing are we lol I just thought about that, its for everything else. Mission accomplished by her marketing team I suppose. sad huh? Look at the video of florence above her singing is foremost, her talent outshines everything else about her. ( I personally prefer that in singers)

As someone with some shameful background in the occult, I can tell you with certainty that Lady Gaga, and a host of other contemporary music stars, promote a Luciferian agenda. One can very often see their evocation of esoteric mudra's, the display of the Baphomet, and the in-your-face overt hedonism... and this is aimed towards the children.

Sad times. If I ever have children, I will definitely keep tabs on what they're listening to and watching.
