Isn't laziness by itself a huge sin? Procastination is horrible!

Why do people get very lazy?

Some get so lazy about doing anything:

* laziness about taking your bath
* same with waking up from sleep
* some find it difficlult to read all the posts

what do you think about such a virus called laziness?

Do Laziness and tiredness always have something in common?

Hey, it's not nice to make threads about me :angry3

:biggrin2

Laziness, a lifestyle for some, is a temptation for all. But the Bible is clear that, because the Lord ordained work for man, laziness is sin. “Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise” (Proverbs 6:6).

I know my husband works hard all day at work and hates to do anything when he gets home as he is tired and just wants to relax. He will usually wait till the weekend to do things if they are not pressing at the moment. I on the other hand want things done now as why prolong something that needs done. Get your work done early then there is time to play is what we were taught as a child and that has always stuck with me.

It's quite unfortunate that some are so used to it that they are not aware of it.

I think laziness has it's repercussions but it is certainly not a sin.

Procrastination often isn't the result of laziness, but of discomfort and fear.
