You cant determine "ANYTHING" without at least one active sense.

Don't be so hasty. I am of the opinion that we still have to have some kind of sensory input to think about. It's just that the senses don't do much of anything without the brain (thought) to interpret.

My statement is incorrect since God could still talk to your mind, even if all 5 senses were disabled. But im open for correction on that.
 
I read an interesting book on spiritual awareness that posited that if we experience these inputs in the spiritual realm, then we would actually have 10 senses.... depending upon how many we had contact with. It was kind of cool reading.

Ha, no. It was about this guy who agreed to a scientific experiment in which all of his five senses were cut off and he was left to himself and his thoughts. (Just the idea of that alone is enough to make it super creepy!) They wanted to see if doing this would make him able to communicate with any supernatural beings. By the end of the story the man is tormented and cries out (the scientists left him the ability to speak) that he spoke to God and that God abandoned them.

Just a fictional horror story. I have to admit I like horror stories a bit, but it depends on what they're about. Blood and guts horror isn't for me.

That's what I'm driving at. God speaks to the spirit of a man.

And in regard to what Willie points out, when God speaks to the spirit of a man it may have a manifestation in one of the five senses. That's why God speaking to man is often referred to as speaking to his heart--it may have the manifestation of causing a rising up feeling in the heart.
 
you have never felt Yah? Science is NOT FACT, it changes all the time. YHWH WAS, IS and ALWAYS SHALL BE(not "yelling"). Science can not explain so many things yet Yahweh leads us into enlightenment and Love. Thank you people who observe stuff and think about it, for making toasters, and the bread too. The Holy Bible is above science because it is The Word of God teaching us how to live and walk with Yahweh. science is good for making physical stuff into other things but YHWH created all physical stuff, In Spirit. Once your spiritual eyes are opened more fully perhaps you will see the YHWH YESHUA IS THE JOY IN ALL THINGS and will never ever leave you. Blessings again on your journey! I am still excited for you Poet, keep seeking The Truth and bring to light all darkness with Love=)

I didnt say science was truth, I said its the method of understanding the truth of our natural universe.

And what kind of things does God speak to your spirit about, anything that can be proven doesnt originate from your own mind?

You still don't seem to be able to grasp the concept that if something can be proven, then there is no faith involved.

If faith is absent of proof, then you can't claim it as a fact.

I find it interesting that people think seeing is believing, and that you have to see and feel and experience something in the natural before it can be considered real and worthy of trust. The Israelites proved how very wrong that thinking is. I've seen people in the church experience wonderful, seemingly miraculous answers to prayer, just to see them continue to waffle in doubt and unbelief about God and their relationship to him.
