Actually, he cannot tell the truth - everything he says is a lie. He already has most of the world duped. (political, religious, economic, educational, entertainment, etc etc etc).
Just try to find a group anywhere that will not tell a lie routinely. The deception is quite complete worldwide.
As it is written "all men are liars" (some claim this applies to only some or that this must be "in contxt". oh well. guess which group they're in!) After realizing this, when someone is seeking Yhwh in Yeshua by His Grace as He Permits, then the truth can be learned --- oh so slowly, over decades.

You mean like the lake of fire being or not being for ever and ever.
The Bible says that the Lake of Fire is hell and it says that it is forever and ever.
Matthew 25:41 Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
Daniel 12:2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,
Some to everlasting life,
Some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Revelation 14:10-11 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

Hebrews 10:27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.
Psalm 50:3 Our God comes; he does not keep silence; before him is a devouring fire, around him a mighty tempest.
The definition of consume Hebrews 10:27 is to destroy, absorb, devour. If you devour your dinner, there is nothing left. If you absorb all the water in the sponge there is no water left in the sponge. If you destroy an anthill, then it is no longer an anthill. It is simply crushed sand on the ground. When you destroy, absorb, devour something you are taking away its essence.

Hell is the lake of fire.
Revelation 20:10 and the devil lwho had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
Hell is empty right now.The unbelievers are waiting in Hades to be judged.

It is not possible.That is why hell and the lake of fire are the same place.Can't you see that from the above verse?
Revelation 21:8 But the cowardly, unbelieving,[a] abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
Hell is the second death.

Hello Kathi. Hades and the Lake of fire are two different places. Hades in Greek is 'the grave' or the 'abode of the dead'.

hades isn't the greek word the grave. its a place where the souls of both good and bad go to be judged by a three member council based on their deeds. I suggest that you read the epics on what the greeks of that day believed then also read up what the bible says hades and sheol are. sheol is what is being talked about in revalation and in luke. sheol is cast into gehenna. often the Christians then took a word and redefined it. ie agape. I asked a fluent speaker of koine greek of this subject she said that if I wanted to know what hades was , simply read the epics. I have a basic understand of that. I also am well versed on sheol. its similar to what hades is. both have levels and both have the lowest level of fire and there is reserved for the worst people. both in some versions have a place for the good( sheol according to some has a place where the tzaddik have a level and other versions of it don't and those tzaddik go to gan eden)
