Update:

My 62 year old brother has been in the hospital - Lake West, since early Sunday morning.
Had bleeding around his heart, he almost died! But they saved his life with tending to him for 5 hours in the emergency room! They had to fly a doctor in to operate on him because he wasn't stable enough to be lifeflighted to another hospital. They drained the sack around his heart but couldn't find the source of the bleeding. To this day they don't know. And, I find that to be really strange. ) But they are keeping close watch on him. Were giving him ex-rays three times a day to see if the bleeding started up again. So far so good, he's just draining slowly now. They hope to remove the drain tubes soon.

But the good thing is that he is doing so much better just 4 days later! I'm so happy!

I'm so happy, my brother is improving slowly day by day. He's been heavily medicated for four days in the ICU. Along with all the things they have him hooked up to, he's had a tube for breathing down his throat for 4 days. They finally were able to take it out today without him having difficulty breathing on his own. He is still in ICU but thank God he is doing better. Had a ton of doctors come in to check on him for various things. His blood pressure is back to pretty much normal from when he first arrived at the hospital the top number was so low down to 67. Now it's around 125. And his blood plates are getting back to normal also. The swelling in his hands and arms is decreasing.

And yet once again I am reminded
Life is precious,
we tend to take for granted and
don't realize how valuable a person is until their life is on the line.

Be nice,
don't use people
give love,
be there when someone needs you,
physically or emotionally,
for support,
for understanding,
for anything,
help each other...
We are keepers of each other.

I hope you all know how much I care about you all and that even though I may not reply to every single prayer request here that I do pray for everyone!

and

I hope you all are doing well in keeping the faith.

Know full well that the Lord IS taking care.

I'm so glad to hear that your brother is doing better! I know it isn't easy to see someone you love in ICU with tubes sticking out everywhere and all that. It's so frightening to be in that environment. But God is there with His arms around your brother and your family. God bless him with renewed health.

I'm so glad that he's better! That is frightening what he went through. God bless :praying

That's wonderful news to hear that things are getting better! :-). Will be praying. :praying.

Your praise report in the midst of this trial is a beautiful reminder to each Christian here to trust our Lord Jesus Christ whose Father is always guarding us! I am so thankful for the valiant testimony of all the saints!

Dear Heavenly Father~

I rejoice with my sister whose heart is tender and filled with praise at the beginnings of Your healing work! Amen and halleluyah for Your ways and works oh God are truly a wonder to each of us! Forever we offer You all honor and power and glory and blessing, to the only wise King. Even so. :praying

I request from Your throme for Relic and her brother and the members of family and friends all who are involved in this trial~ that You would grant them according to the riches of Your glory to be strengthened with might by Your Spirit in their inner person. And that Christ would dwell in each heart by faith; that they will be rooted and grounded in love. So they may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth, length, height, and depth of the love of Christ~ which surpasses knowledge~ that they will be filled with all the fullness of God. In Jesus precious name I ask.

I ask that Your hand of protection and Your healing touch would remain on Relic's brother and that the doctors and nurses would be guided by Your wisdom and skilled by Your understanding. I ask for a complete healing and restoration for him, in the name of Jesus. I request more Lord~ for Your great comfort to fall upon all throughout this trial. Be gloriously known and shown in this good work and be pleased oh Father with Your children's praise!
:amen

Thanks everyone,

My brother spent 10 days in ICU under careful watch. The sac around his heart stopped draining fluid and blood on the 8th day when they took all the draining tubes out of him, and let him go home on the 10th day. He now has to pay regular weekly visits to the doctors because he's still needs to get his kidneys back to working normal. Also, his gall bladder started to get hard and very sore tender from not eating for 8 days, but it is now better two weeks later. His blood sugars sky rocketed from the shock to his system and he is on insuline until everything gets back to normal. They said the shock to his system made his organs and blood sugars go bizirk. And they did keep him heavily medicated close to comatose condition for 4 days because of the tube they had down his lungs, and with draining the sac around his heart for 8 days was shock to his whole system. But Thank GOD he's out of the hospital now and he is continuing to gaining strength daily and hopefully he will be off of the inusline and other meds they put him on, soon.

Yes, it was very scary and emotionally trying , indeed, to have almost lost him. They said if he would have gotten to the hospital any later he would have been dead. They saved his life, and it wasn't his time to go! Thank God!

It was one heck of a week which really drained me emotionally. Took all I could do to keep my spirits up and to keep trusting the Lord that all IS well to overcome the worry that was haunting me. We are still praying that he takes it easy enough to not have another episode. I couldn't beleive it when I heard that he actually went back to work today! But he took a helper with him because he's not alllowed to strain. I pray my brother knows to not work too hard. He's just too used to being a strong hard worker by himself without any helper.

Thank you all for all your prayers of encouragement and postive thoughts. :yes

God Bless you all. :wave
