Looking for a computer chess game

I am a lousy chess player and maybe always will be. Still I like to play. I am currently playing on windows vista Chess Titans. I am looking for a game with more than ten levels and that will teach as it goes along. I have read about "Chessmasters", but not sure which version is best.

Have you seen / tried Kasperov Chessmate?
Kasparov Chessmate - Free software downloads and software reviews - CNET Download.com It's free to try (but you only get 60 minutes) -- after that to continue to play ya gotta buy it. At least you know what you're getting in advance though.

You might already have it with your computer software. I have Windows Vista Home Version and when I click on the Control Panel, I next click on Games, then Chess Titans. It's a pretty good program. I'm not sure if you have Windows Vista, 7, or something older. It's worth a check no matter what before deciding to run out and buy ChessMaster.
