Looking for Jesus according to Matthew

1)

- Once again, for me, what is important is Revelation 12: 10-12!

- Now about your question:

- According to Revelation12:10-12,

- The accuser is the devil!

- The brothers are those who have conquered the devil by the blood of the Lamb!

- According to Revelation 1:1, the book of Revelation is the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ!

- According to Revelation 1:9, John says that he was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and his testimony about Jesus!

2)

- Now about the son, the male child!

- We are told that he will rule all the nations with an iron scepter!

- In Revelation 12, we are told about a woman who gave birth to a son, a male child who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter!

- Thus we get three points:

- Point one about Jesus:

Isaiah 9:6,7

6 For unto us a child is born,

unto us a son is given,

and the government will be upon His shoulders.

And He will be called

Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,

Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

7 Of the increase of His government and peace

there will be no end.

He will reign on the throne of David

and over his kingdom,

to establish and sustain it

with justice and righteousness

from that time and forevermore.

3)

- Point two about the 144,000:

- According to Revelation 2:7, about the message to the Church in Ephesus, the one who overcomes will be granted the right to eat from the tree of life in the Paradise of God!

- According to Revelation 2:10, about the message to the Church in Smyrna, the one who is faithful even unto death will be given the crown of life!

- According to Revelation 2:11, The one who overcomes will not be harmed by the second death!

- According to Revelation 2:17, about the message to the Church in Pergamum, the one who overcomes will be given the hidden manna and a white stone inscribed with a new name, known only to the one who receives it!

- According to Revelation 2:26,27, about the message to the Church in Thyatira, the one who overcomes and continues in Jesus’ work until the end will be given authority over the nations and he will rule them with an iron scepter and shatter them like pottery just as Jesus has received authority from His Father!

- According to Revelation 3:5, about the message to the Church in Sardis, he who overcomes will be dressed in white And Jesus will never blot out his name from the Book of Life, but he will confess his name before His Father and His angels!

- According to Revelation 3:12, about the message to the Church in Philadelphia, The one who overcomes, Jesus will make a pillar in the temple of His God, and he will never again leave it. Upon him Jesus will write the name of His God, and the name of the city of His God (the new Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven from His God), and His new name!

- According to Revelation 3:21, about the message to the Church in Laodicea, the one who overcomes, Jesus will grant the right to sit with Him on His throne, just as Jesus overcame and sat down with His Father on His throne!

4)

- Point three about the kingdom:

- According to Revelation 5:9,10, we are told about a new song about Jesus:

- who was slain and could thus by His blood purchased for God those from every tribe and tongue and people and nation

- and he has made them a kingdom and priests to serve God

- and they will reign upon the earth!

- According to Revelation 14:1-4, we are told about :

- The Lamb standing on Mount Zion,

- And with Him 144,000 who had His name and His Father’s name written on their foreheads!

- And they sang a new song before the throne!

- And no one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth!

- They have been redeemed from among men as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb!

- Let’s put Revelation chapter 12 so everyone can have a general view!

The Woman and the Dragon

1And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed in the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. 2She was pregnant and crying out in the pain and agony of giving birth.

3Then another sign appeared in heaven: a huge red dragon with seven heads, ten horns, and seven royal crowns on his heads. 4His tail swept a third of the stars from the sky, tossing them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, ready to devour her child as soon as she gave birth.

5And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.a And her child was caught up to God and to His throne. 6And the woman fled into the wilderness, where God had prepared a place for her to be nourished for 1,260 days.

The War in Heaven

7Then a war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8But the dragon was not strong enough, and no longer was any place found in heaven for him and his angels. 9And the great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

10And I heard a loud voice in heaven saying:

“Now have come the salvation and the power

and the kingdom of our God,

and the authority of His Christ.

For the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down—

he who accuses them day and night before our God.

11They have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb

and by the word of their testimony.

And they did not love their lives

so as to shy away from death.

12Therefore rejoice, O heavens,

and you who dwell in them!

But woe to the earth and the sea;

with great fury the devil has come down to you,

knowing he has only a short time.”

The Woman Persecuted

13And when the dragon saw that he had been thrown to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. 14But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle to fly from the presence of the serpent to her place in the wilderness, where she was nourished for a time, and times, and half a time.

15Then from the mouth of the serpent spewed water like a river to overtake the woman and sweep her away in the torrent. 16But the earth helped the woman and opened its mouth to swallow up the river that had poured from the dragon’s mouth. 17And the dragon was enraged at the woman, and went to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea.b

1)

So who is the woman, who is the man-child, who is the accuser, who are the brethren, what is the word of their testimony, and who are the rest of her seed?

- When we start the book of Genesis, we have Yah.weh, Jesus and the angels!

- When we go to Adam and Eve, we can add the devil who opposes Yah.weh’s authority by having Adam and Eve opposing Yah’weh’s authority!

- He accuses Yah.weh of being a liar when he says to Eve that she can eat the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil without dying whereas Yah.weh told Adam they would die!

- Does it remind you what religion usually says that it doesn’t matter whatever you do, you can have eternal life?

- Yes, religion has always been the devil’s tool!

- And religion keeps repeating Yah.weh is a liar!

- Then Genesis chapter 3:

14 So the LORD God said to the serpent:

“Because you have done this,

cursed are you above all livestock

and every beast of the field!

On your belly will you go,

and dust you will eat,

all the days of your life.

15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman,

and between your seed and her seed.

He will crush your head,

and you will strike his heel.”

- In Genesis 4:4, we see that Yah.weh looked with favor on Abel and his offering!

- In Genesis 5:22-24, we see that Enoch walked faithfully with Yah.weh!

- But he lived only 365 years compared to the ages of the other men mentioned in the book of Genesis but Yah.weh took him away!

- We can imagine the situation was too bad!

- As everybody can see it, the Bible doesn’t speak about many faithful servants of Yah.weh!

Piotr Juszczyk said:

What?

On Earth we still don't know where the best places are. And you write about the best places on Mars.

- Can you see that on Mars?

- There are no good places on mars!

- There is nothing!

2)

- I can’t believe it!

- Things are so clear!

- But I have never been so far!

- And every time you have to go farther like Voyager 1 and Voyager 2!

- In fact, there are no limits!

- Only men put limits whereas there aren’t any!

- Thus it is difficult to speak about it!

- Because there is so much to say and it goes in all directions!

- And you must go through all the Bible!

- So it is necessary to take time!

- I must also say that we can take the same way at different times and it could be different every time because there are so many things to say!

- In the Bible, we can see faithful servants of Yah.weh who can be told about visions and dreams and they can write them down with so many details!

- And it seems so easy!

- And it is so different from religion because you are being told about what is supposed to be the truth and then nothing!

- The problem is that the more you look for something, the more you learn and the more you realize that nothing is established!

- And the more you realize that we know nothing!

- And that there is always something to know!

- We always hear about people who say they know better or they know everything!

- But they don’t know humility!

- And the Bible tells us that if we don’t know humility, we don’t know anything and we will always be wrong!

- That’s why we are where we are and that we go nowhere or just destroy everything faster and faster!

- And it has always been so through human history!

- And man never learns anything!

Revelation chapter 6

Corruption on the Earth

1 Now when men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they took as wives whomever they chose.

3 So the LORD said, “My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal; his days shall be 120 years.”

4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and afterward as well—when the sons of God had relations with the daughters of men. And they bore them children who became the mighty men of old, men of renown.

5 Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great upon the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was altogether evil all the time. 6And the LORD regretted that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. 7So the LORD said, “I will blot out man, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—every man and beast and crawling creature and bird of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them.”

Noah’s Favor with God

8Noah, however, found favor in the eyes of the LORD.

9This is the account of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation; Noah walked with God. 10And Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

11Now the earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and full of violence. 12And God looked upon the earth and saw that it was corrupt; for all living creaturesb on the earth had corrupted their ways.

Preparing the Ark

13Then God said to Noah, “The end of all living creatures has come before Me, because through them the earth is full of violence. Now behold, I will destroy both them and the earth.

14Make for yourself an ark of gopher wood;c make rooms in the ark and coat it with pitch inside and out. 15And this is how you are to build it: The ark is to be 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high.d 16You are to make a roofe for the ark, finish its walls a cubit from the top,f place a door in the side of the ark, and build lower, middle, and upper decks.

17And behold, I will bring floodwaters upon the earth to destroy every creature under the heavens that has the breath of life. Everything on the earth will perish. 18But I will establish My covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you.

19And you are to bring two of every living creature into the ark—male and female—to keep them alive with you. 20Two of every kind of bird and animal and crawling creature will come to you to be kept alive. 21You are also to take for yourself every kind of food that is eaten and gather it as food for yourselves and for the animals.”

22So Noah did everything precisely as God had commanded him.

- In Genesis 4:23, we are told about Lamech who kills a young man because this man struck him!

- In Genesis 4:26, we are told about Seth having a son called Enosh and at that time men began calling upon the name of Yah.weh!

- In Genesis 5:25, we are told about Enoch walking with Yah.weh but Yah.weh took him away when he was 365 whereas men lived longer!

- It is a fact that we are not told a lot about the situation on earth!

- But it is different in Genesis chapter 6 because some angels started looking at women with sexual desire!

- As a consequence, they went on earth and married as many women as they could!

- We can imagine that the devil worked hard not only with men but also with angels!

- He has been acquiring experience on angels and men for ages!

- When he started opposing Yah.weh, there was no return!

- We just have to think about the book of Job for that!

- They had children who were giants called Nephilim and they were stronger than men and abused their exceptional strength!

- And wickedness filled the earth and every inclination of the thoughts of man’s heart was evil!

- And Yah.weh decided to destroy all life on earth!

- Thus,on the one hand, we have Yah.weh, Jesus, the angels and on the other hand, we have the devil, the demons and the main part of mankind!

- The first thing we see is that the devil’s team is growing and growing faster and faster!

- Both on heaven and on earth!

- It is like a pandemic!

- Corruption spreads everywhere on the earth!

- First, we are told about angels who could work with and for Yah.weh!

- They had a share in Yah.weh’s creation!

- Right at the beginning!

- Imagine all the time they spent at the service of Yah.weh, the creator of everything and the source of exceptional wisdom!

- Think about all their abilities we can’t even perceive!

- We can see that at the end, there is no difference between demons and men, they have the same end, in the attitude and in the fact they will die as a consequence of their disobedience!

- It doesn’t matter the time you live

- There are always consequences for our actions, sooner or later!

- That’s free will!

- Who was saved? Only Noah and his family!

- Now think about today!

- There is no big difference!

- Everyone has free will and Yah.weh gives the choice to everybody, angels and men!

- Everyone must get the keys to get into the promised land!

- And after the 1,000 years, it will be the same!

- That’s Yah.weh’s justice!

- Always the difference between quality and quantity!

- It is not only the question of having a brain but also of using it with insight!

In various mythologies, demigods are beings of mixed divine and mortal heritage, typically born from a god and a human. They often possess some degree of divine power or abilities, setting them apart from normal humans. Some mythologies also consider humans granted divine status or those with a "divine spark" to be demigods.

Several religious systems feature demigods, which are beings with divine and mortal ancestry. Greek, Roman, and Egyptian mythologies prominently feature demigods, as do Hindu and African traditional religions like Vodún. Even the Bible mentions beings like the "sons of God" in Genesis 6, which some interpret as demigods.

- When we look at Genesis chapter 6, there is no comparison between mankind and Noah!

- He does exactly according to what Yah.weh tells him!

- it is so to build the ark and before getting into the ark!

- it is so when he gets into the ark (Chapter 7)!

- The verses 10 to12 are particularly interesting:

10 And after seven days the floodwaters came upon the earth. 11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, on the seventeenth day of the second month, all the fountains of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the heavens were opened. 12 And the rain fell upon the earth for forty days and forty nights.

- Has the atmosphere of the earth changed a lot through its existence?

Yes, Earth's atmosphere has changed dramatically throughout its history. Initially, the atmosphere was rich in gases like methane and ammonia but lacked oxygen. Over billions of years, it transformed due to the emergence of life and processes like photosynthesis, leading to a nitrogen and oxygen-rich atmosphere like we see today. Human activities, particularly the burning of fossil fuels, have significantly increased greenhouse gas concentrations, causing a rapid rise in global temperatures.

Here's a more detailed look:

Early Earth:

The early Earth's atmosphere was likely very different from the one we have today. It consisted mainly of gases like methane, ammonia, and water vapor, but had very little free oxygen.

Rise of Oxygen:

The emergence of life, particularly photosynthetic organisms like cyanobacteria, led to the production of oxygen, gradually transforming the atmosphere.

Natural Climate Changes:

Over long periods, Earth's climate has experienced natural cycles of warming and cooling, including ice ages and warmer periods. These changes were often driven by factors like variations in Earth's orbit, volcanic activity, and levels of greenhouse gases.

Human Impact:

Human activities, especially since the industrial revolution, have caused a rapid increase in greenhouse gas concentrations, particularly carbon dioxide, leading to a more rapid warming trend than observed in natural climate cycles.

- Apparently man doesn’t know anything about what the bible says about these particular conditions!

- If it was taken into account, it would change many things!

- But man is short-sighted!

1)

- In fact, the flood was a big washing of the earth and of human society!

- On the one hand, we find Yah.weh, Jesus, the angels and Noah!

- On the other hand, we find the devil and the demons!

- Quite simple!

- In Genesis 10:8-12:

8 Cush was the father of Nimrod, who began to be a mighty one on the earth. 9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; so it is said, “Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD.” 10 His kingdom began in Babylon, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. 11 From that land he went forth into Assyria, where he built Nineveh, Rehoboth-Ir, Calah, 12 and Resen, which is between Nineveh and the great city of Calah.

2)

Babylon, the Gate of the Gods

When the lofty Anu, King of the Anunnaki, and Bel, lord of heaven and earth, he who determines the destiny of the land, committed the rule of all mankind to Marduk, the chief son of Ea; when they made him great among the Igigi; when they pronounced the lofty name of Babylon; when they made it famous among the quarters of the world and in its midst established an everklasting kingdom whose foundations were firm as heaven and earth – at that time, Anu and Bel called me, Hammurabi, the exalted prince, the worshiper of the gods, to cause justice to prevail in the land, to go forth like the Sun over the Black Head Race, to enlighten the land…

3)

These are the first lines of cuneiform trail known as the Code of Hammurabi, sixth king of the Amorite dynasty who lived and reigned in Babylon between 1728 and 1686 BC and was proclaimed king of Sumeria, Acadia and the four regions. Under his reign turned the small city-state into an empire that dominated Mesopotamia between Kurdistan and the Persian Gulf, between the lands of Mari to Susa in today’s Iran, beating the Assyrian capital Nineveh.

Babylon was called in Sumerian times Ka-dingirra, the Gate of the Gods. According to the Bible was founded by Nimrod, son of Cush, grandson of Ham and grandson of Noah. Each of the city gates held the name of a god: Shamash, Ishtar, Marduk, Adad, Enlil, Zababa and Uresh. In Nebuchadnezzar age, during the second Chaldean kingdom, was built the famous Ishtar Gate, leading to the temple of Marduk. This door was a fortified enclosure controlling access to the north of the city, then also housing one of the Seven Wonders of Ancient World: the Hanging Gardens, built to Amytis, monarch’s wife.

4)

The main Assyrian gods were Ashur, Anu, Enlil, and Enki. Ashur was the national god, originally the deification of the city of Ashur. Anu was the supreme god, and Enlil was the god of air, considered the head of the pantheon. Enki was the god of water and wisdom.

Here's a more detailed look at some of the key Assyrian deities:

Ashur: The national god of Assyria, originally associated with the city of Ashur. He became the most important god as the Assyrian empire grew.

Anu: The supreme god, associated with heaven and the sky.

Enlil: The god of air and wind, considered the head of the pantheon.

Enki: The god of water, wisdom, and creation. He was also known as Ea.

Ishtar: The goddess of fertility, love, and war. She was also known as Inanna.

Shamash: The sun god, known for his role as an arbiter of justice.

Sin: The moon god.

Nabu: The god of wisdom and writing.

Nergal: The god of plague, war, and the sun in its destructive capacity.

5)

Babylonian and Assyrian religions, though sharing fundamental Mesopotamian beliefs, had distinct focuses. Both were polytheistic, with vast pantheons of gods and goddesses. However, the Assyrians placed a greater emphasis on Ashur as their national deity, while the Babylonians centered their worship around Marduk.

6)

Similarities:

  • Polytheism:

  • Both Assyrian and Babylonian religions were polytheistic, meaning they believed in and worshiped multiple gods and goddesses.

Differences:

  • National Deity:
The Assyrians primarily focused on Ashur as their national god, while the Babylonians centered their worship around Marduk.
Shared Pantheon:

They shared a large and diverse pantheon of deities, many with similar roles and attributes.

Focus on Natural Phenomena and Human Affairs:

Both religions associated their gods with natural phenomena (like the sun, moon, and storms) and with aspects of human life (like warfare, agriculture, and governance).

Rituals and Temples:

Both cultures had elaborate rituals, including sacrifices, prayers, and divination, and built impressive temples to their deities.

Influence of Sumerian Religion:

Both Babylonian and Assyrian religions were heavily influenced by the earlier Sumerian religion, adopting many of their gods, myths, and practices.

Animism vs. Supreme God:

While both religions were polytheistic, some scholars suggest that the Assyrians had a stronger element of animism (belief in spirits inhabiting inanimate objects) than the Babylonians, while the Babylonians developed the concept of a Supreme God (Enlil).

Focus on Warfare:

The Assyrians, being a military power, placed a greater emphasis on gods of war, while the Babylonians may have had a broader range of deities associated with various aspects of life.

Religious Centers:

Babylon was the primary religious center for the Babylonians, while Assyria had multiple religious centers, including Ashur (now Qal at Sharqat).
