I guess a lot of people would call them 'indie' bands, although that doesn't exactly attribute any specific sound IMHO, it just states they are under the radar.

Basically looking for music that breaks away from typical messages/lyrics rhyme schemes etc. Now, it's not a MUST criteria, in so much that the band sounds 'off the wall'. But I'm looking for artists with more....raw? real? a sound, and usually those attributes follow the suit.

Does that makes sense?
