Focus on the Family addresses the use of biblical principles in parenting and marriage to strengthen the family.

Love my husband, hate my marriage....

Well, we have one big step in the right direction.... Steve did get the job with the other company and will now be ending his days in the same town that the in-laws house is in. This means he will be much closer to home. He can drop Tom off at school in the morning, head on off to where his first client will be and then also come home every night, since he'll only be 45 minutes away from home, rather than 1 1/2 hours.

Now, I'm just praying that it will work out this way. We've been down this path before, about him coming home every night... hopefully it will work out this time.

Has he started the new job yet? How are things going?

He is starting the new job today. However, he won't be able to come home until the 18th because his parents are vacationing in Pittsburgh and someone needs to stay with the dogs. :shrug

We'll see how things go after the 18th.... I will say that Steve has been a lot more understanding of what I'm facing.... He actually did the extra trips up to the house while I stayed in town this weekend. Usually it's me doing all the driving back and forth... I actually stayed the entire day in one town on Saturday... nice.
