First, the Scripture, the Word of God is written to believers in Covenant with God ONLY. It is NOT written to the world of unbelievers, or those NOT in Covenant with God. The passage of Scripture where Jesus says not to cast our pearls to swine (unbelievers) is a command NOT being obeyed today. With the hundreds of bible translations on the market it's easy to see where much confusion in the Body of Christ comes from. The heresy of "accept Jesus into your heart" or "Christ died for everyone" or that "God loves everyone" are teachings that have popped up into our belief-systems throughout 2000 years of Church history. I won't get into that right now but if you know your Church history from reputable teachers, pastors, and professors to name a few then, there's a good chance some of you may know what I post about because the "falling away from the truth" has been in play for hundreds of years at the least, and years after Christ Ascended at the most.

Now here's the original command God gave to His Covenant people, the twelve tribes of Israel in Leviticus:

Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. 18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD. Lev. 19:17–18.

What does God mean and how was it understood when given and how does it apply to believers today? Let's break it down.

First, the placement of the Twelve Tribes of Israel God commanded three tribes to the north, three tribes to the east, three tribes to the west, and three tribes to the south, with the Tabernacle in the center. Incidentally, this made the shape of a cross when viewed from the air. And this was planned by God. Everything ABOUT the Tabernacle and IN the Tabernacle pointed TO Christ - even the placement of the tribes. So, here's the breakdown of Leviticus 19:17-18.

Thou shalt not hate thy brother [member of the same tribe] in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour [member of another tribe], and not suffer sin upon him. 18 Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people [member of any tribe], but thou shalt love thy neighbour [member of another tribe] as thyself: I am the LORD. Lev. 19:17–18.

The command for Israel as it is for the Body of Christ has not changed. We are to love the brethren ONLY, those who are saved, are possessed of the Holy Spirit, and in Covenant with God.

Christ has enemies. God has enemies. The Holy Spirit has enemies. IF we through error or misunderstanding or being taught false doctrine love God's enemies, or Christ's enemies, or the Holy Spirit's enemies that would be a treasonous act against the LORD our King of kings. It's that simple.
Now I want to see who understands this 'so-great salvation.'

Wonder why Jesus didn't know that sir:
(Matthew 5:43-48) 43 “You heard that it was said: ‘You must love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 However, I say to you: Continue to love your enemies and to pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may prove yourselves sons of your Father who is in the heavens, since he makes his sun rise on both the wicked and the good and makes it rain on both the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 For if you love those loving you, what reward do you have? Are not also the tax collectors doing the same thing? 47 And if you greet your brothers only, what extraordinary thing are you doing? Are not also the people of the nations doing the same thing? 48 You must accordingly be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Take note of Mat 22:37-40

I prefer the Authorized King James Version:

Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect
Mt 5:43–48.

First, Moses prophesied that God would raise up a Prophet like unto him. This God did in the Person of Jesus Christ. Second, Jesus is a "Jewish" Messiah. He was prophesied to the Hebrews in Covenant and He came TO the Hebrews in Covenant. He was NOT sent to the Gentiles or the world at large:

And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water. Jn 1:31.

Every word Jesus spoke was given to His people, the Hebrews in Covenant. That's how His words should be interpreted and understood. Later, as Gentiles began to be saved, born again, and brought into the Judaic Covenant with the giving of the Holy Spirit they are instructed to first understand the history of Israel and salvation and to apply His teachings "to the Jew first and also to the Gentiles (Greek." Do you agree?

One more thing: Jesus said He did not come to destroy the Law, right? Any change in the Law would destroy it, so Jesus' words about love is not a change in the Law.

Is there something that you disagreed with that I said in my post sir? I agree Jesus came to God's covenanted people only, the apostles under the new covenant took it to the nations, continuing today. Jesus' teachings do not change God's law by any means, but his death released us from it, and we are bound through a new set of laws as found in the inspired writings since Jesus roamed the earth.

How do you know who is your brother ?

Would you agree that while the Temple stood (destroyed by General Titus 70 AD which effectively ended 'Judaism' as they knew it) that the command in Acts 1:8 was a command to take the message of the "Jewish" Messiah's arrival to the Jewish people FIRST scattered throughout the then-known world due to the Diaspora (conquered by Assyria 722BC and Babylon 522BC)?

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Actc 1:8.

Jesus' command to His apostles was given at the Mount of Olives. Thus, the command to take the message to the Hebrews was to Jerusalem (west), Samaria (north), Judaea (south) and the uttermost part of the earth (east - the Orient) all four cardinal points of the compass - was a message to Israel ONLY (and first)? Then with the destruction of the Temple the Times of the Gentiles began to which the message was STILL to Israel but now because of the inclusion of Cornelius and his household the message now included Gentiles to come to Israel's Messiah and Lord?

How do you know who is your brother ?
To be quite honest with you we never know who God is going to save. We DO NOT know what names are in the Book of Life.
However, it is AFTER a person becomes born again, truly born again of the Holy Spirit that we witness their confession, test the spirit, and LEARN to determine if they are truly saved. The spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God and He will witness with our spirit whether another is a child of God.

Truly, WE CANNOT call ANYONE "brother/brethren" UNLESS we have the SAME Father. You follow? If we call a reprobate unbeliever "brother" we join Christ to a whore, if you will. Understand?

Another thing.... we are to give RE-spect to unbelievers. The word 'respect' is a compound word and it means 'to look again.' In Scripture God tells His people many, many times "[to] Behold!" This is a first-person directive. We 'LOOK' at once and never give a double-take. God commands our attention on the spot.
BUT towards the world of unbelievers He commands us "[to] look again." Are you following me?

And ONCE we learn a person is true born of God brethren then they receive our love. Why? Because Christ is in them. If we hate our brother or have some indifference toward them we hate Christ in them and are indifferent to Christ in them. It's the whole package or none at all.

That's correct, 54.

Jeremiah, this argument rewrites the actual wording of the text, and reinterprets "enemies" as simply being "Jewish brethren." He didn't use the term "Covenant people" or "Jews" or "those of the Hebrew Covenant," He used the Greek word for enemies (ἀγαπᾶτε τοὺς ἐχθροὺς ὑμῶν).

A perfect example of applying this teaching was when He told them to walk an extra mile, and who did He tell them to walk an extra mile for? The Romans, who were considered enemies by most Jews because the Romans were the military overlords reigning over Judea.

Look at the verse that immediately precedes your text:

41 And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. 42 Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away. 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you...

V.41 is talking about Roman soldiers who were forcing Jews to carry their gear for a mile so as to preserve their strength, and it was a custom the Jews hated because it was militarily oppressive. But Jesus taught to not only go one mile marker with them carrying their gear but two, as a way of overcoming evil and oppression with good.

To say Christ's teaching was that they were only to love the Jews is a ridiculous teaching, and not only abuses the clear meaning of the original text but flat out erases other passages out of existence as if they weren't even there.

Stop teaching. James said that teachers would receive the greater judgment, and you are setting yourself up for just that if you keep presuming yourself to be one and misleading people.

The original command from God to His Covenant people is Leviticus 19:17-19.
Jesus is a "Jewish" Messiah prophesied and sent to the "Jewish" people. Everything Jesus said is message TO and FOR His Covenant people. Read it in this context. Don't read it like a Gentile that is being taught to think Jesus was a Gentile Messiah. We are in the Times of the Gentiles and today's church(es) have unmoored believers from their historical "Jewish" roots.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew FIRST, and also to the Greek. Rom. 1:16.

As Gentile know your place.

Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. 20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: 21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Rom. 11:19–21.

To the Jew FIRST and also to the Greek (Gentiles).

You're telling me I shouldn't be correcting you because I'm a Gentile? :) Unbelievable, Lol.

Jeremiah, don't teach, at least not while identifying as a "Christian" on this forum. You are lying to everyone here when you do that. Your teachings don't in any way resemble Christianity.

And all you just did was double down on your position. I can read, and you did nothing to address the Biblical texts I cited. The likely reason is because you don't have any answers for it, am I correct? If not, how about addressing the passages that I cited instead of repeating the ones you already posted. I'm reading your posts, and repeating yourself instead of answering me is not a response.

HOW do you know IF someone is born again?
And do you not believe that Jesus meant that everyone is our neighbor and is to be loved?
We can agape love everyone, even those we don't like.

The thief alongside the road to Jericho was saved by a Samarian - a most unloved person of the Jews.
I believe Jesus means for us to love even the "samarians".

Christianity is completed Judaism.
It began with Israel, and it will end with Israel.

Through Scripture one can KNOW if one is true-born of God.

And the Samaritan parable? Take a closer look.

But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour? 30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. 31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. 32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. 33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, 34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. 35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. 36 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? 37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise. Lk 10:29–37.

"a certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho..." is a Hebrew or Covenant member." verse 30.
A "priest," "Levite," and "Samaritan" are all Hebrew members in Covenant under the Law of Moses, thus, they were members of the 12 Tribes of Israel. They were brethren and neighbors as described in Leviticus 19:17-19.

Jesus commands the Samaritan to "Go, and do thou likewise," meaning take care of your Covenant brethren and Covenant neighbors.

In other words, fellow believers.

If you agape God's enemies you commit treason to King Jesus. Not even God loves His enemies, but will destroy them at the appointed time. Rev. 19:14ff

Did I?

Why do you disregard the full context of scripture and only pick out the parts that you try to make line up with what you say and throw the rest of the scriptures in the trash. Why are you a Judaizer trying to make everyone live under the curse of the law that was given to Israel, but now the moral parts of the law are for Jew and Gentile both being as one in the Lord Christ Jesus by faith. I'm not sure who teaches you these heresies that completely come against scripture. Are you a Jew, Gentile or are you one in the body of Christ as per these scriptures below we being Jew or Gentile are all of the seed of Abraham under a better covenant of God's grace.

Romans 11:1-10 teaches about the remnant of Israel
Romans 11:11-24 teaches that the Gentiles grafted into the branches of Israel
Romans 11:25-36 teaches the mystery of Israel's salvation.

Galatians 3:10-14 teaches that the righteous shall live by faith
Galatians 3:15-29 teaches about the law and the promise.

Key verses:
Gal 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
Gal 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

The only laws that Christ has fulfilled so far are that of the Temple and its sacrifices.

There are laws (commandments) of God that were especially written just for the Hebrews pertaining to the rituals of the Temple, sacrifices, festivals, Torah, Kohanim and Levites, the King and the Nazarite. Then there are the existing moral laws (commandments) for all of us to still follow as in prayers and blessings, love and brotherhood. The poor and unfortunate, treatment of the Gentiles, Marriage, divorce and family. Forbidden sexual relations, business practices, employees and servants. Vows, oaths, swearing, Court and Judicial procedures. Injuries and damages, property and property rights, criminal laws. Prophecy, idolatry and all its practices as the moral laws (commandments) keep us in line with the will of God.

I never said [you] shouldn't be correcting me because you're Gentile. Did I say that?
Did I?

Don't play me for a fool. I'm not.

Your direct quotes to me were "Read it in this context. Don't read it like a Gentile... blah, blah, blah.
As Gentile know your place."

Who else were you addressing?

Christianity is completed Judaism.
It began with Israel, and it will end with Israel.
It begun with Abraham, not Judaism, being that of the Abrahamic covenant God made with him and all his seed that are of faith, which includes all that are in Christ. Acts 11:26 the disciples were the first to be called Christians in Antioch. Christian means a follower of Christ, seed of Abraham and heirs according to the covenant promises God made with him. Judaism has no clue what it means to love your neighbor and to also love and pray for your enemies.

Gal 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
Gal 3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
