Luke 7:39-41 King James Version (KJV)
39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.
41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.

39
Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw it, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would have known who and what sort of woman this is who is touching him, for she is a sinner.” 40 And Jesus answering said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.” And he answered, “What is it, Teacher?” 41 “A certain creditor had two debtors; one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.

39 Jesus knew what type of woman this was and he still loved her and knew she was seeking forgiveness because of her sin.

40 Simon was a Pharisee but he also saw Jesus as a teacher, it is likely that he may have later became a Christian but was not yet a full follower of Jesus because of him still being a Pharisee.

41 Both debts in this story are big but one is impossible to pay and the other is hard to pay. No mater how much sin we have, we don’t have in us what can pay the debt only Jesus paid the debt.

Luke 5:30 But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners? 31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. 32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
