Bible Study Male, Female, Black or White?

Male, Female, Black or White? Educated or none of man's education to boast about?

What does this mean to you?

Jas.2

[1] My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.

[2] For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;

[3] And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:

[4] Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?

[5] Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

[6] But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?

[7] Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?

[8] If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

[9] But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

It has been a natural phenomenon - birds of a feather thing. We ourselves are guilty here too!
I like this post.

Christ was born in a manger, was close to mere fishermen... There are uncoutable examples with Him.

Hi, I was born into a white family that had a mom from a poor family of 13, and a dad who was educated (school supertendant) & from a rich family of four. His uncle was a judge.

And 'i' was in this mixture somewhere? It truely was an unequally yoked thing for me, but the 'moral boundaries of all people' were in our home. There just were none, all people were just people!:thumbsup Even from Gen. to Rev. all were just the Lord's creation! Mom used to be the Sunday School teacher. Rom. 2:28-29.

In fact, I was taught to shy away from big words, and self inflated stuff, yet was taught that these things such as wealth, education, neatness, clean & tidyness were morally ok & not the trouble at all. But that it was the people that ruined the concept of such. There was a Dr. who told my mom that 'there were 12 tribes in Israel'! (did you get his point?) My mother was offended, but today I just laugh at his ignorance. Whatever? But 12 Tribes there were & will be again, huh? :thumbsup

I am originally from the North. And and have lived in the South (SC now) for quite a 'spell'. (not Mi. talk:wave) And have found it interesting how you can meet all kind of folks here & never come across as to there occupation. Yet, prejudice runs in most areas of the church even. Back home it was no where this bad.

If fact, even before I became a Christian, I played a lot of pool. And one of my best friends was of the colored race. We ran around some, but never do I remember us even mentioning black or white. And in high school I played varsity football my freshman year with two brothers who also were Indians. We used to get a big wash tub filled with ice and set around drinking beer. And yes, in those days, I really did blow it, huh! The carnal heart thought that this was fun!:screwloose:screwloose

Yet, if I were even then having any predjudice it was in the ones sounding as being biggoted. And today it has left me with one good trait, (I think?) and that is to never try or even care to read another's MOTIVES. Most of the time of the many Christian forums that I post on, names rarely register.. (on purpose, if I remember a name it is usally one that I believe is very sincere) .. so that the posting only can be the 'subject'! For who can know about these 'individual' ones that have not been known even?? But yes, some do come on like stuffed shirts, huh!:yes And most of these ones in that other 'tribe' (:)) just ignore me & vise/versa.

Discrimination is absolutely wrong! It should not exist in our nature as the people of God. Why do we feel superior to our fellow human beings? I follow the example of Christ.

Even some Christians unconsciously show their superiority to others. Acknowledging this some try to appear true Christians again. Some consciously don't associate with the lower class people (I should not even mention they exist - as they don't exist to me).

...I wanna be like Jesus in Love, humility, suffering, holiness, obedience, prayer and power. This is of course towards our fellow human beings.

Thanks, Elijah. Good points.(your name reminds me something...what you did to the prophets of Baal. Hahahhaha)

OK: Per Bible Study:study huh?
Remember at creation, there were none of the Jer. 17:5's many different ones who were 'educated' to study:thumbsup, so lets use the Bible only. God Himself talked directly to Adam & Eve. And what we have is THE WORD OF GOD. (John 1:14)

Let's just remark of what must be agreed on? Adam & Eve being created perfect, lacked only ONE THING? What was that? Rom. 8:1 finds [ALL] with NO Condemnation as PERFECT. So what do all of these ones lack also? Both Adam and Eve lacked MATURITY! They & we are perfect only as CREATED 'BABES' IN CHRIST. So now comes What in Rom. 8:14? 'Both are to be 'Led' for the purpose of MATURING!

So what was Adam & Eve's First 7th Day Sabbath sermon which came on their first day of life ALL ABOUT? Bible study surely should be STARTED at mankinds START, right? And does God in His first sermon give us today any hint of the 'Jew' that we hear about? (or black or white) Or is it just mankind seen here? (compare Mark 2:27) 'The Sabbath was made for MAN and NOT MAN FOR THE SABBATH.'

And being 'sinless' (very GOOD) which is PERFECT, unless one today thinks that God creates FLAWED material? so we would surely think that God did indeed WARN them to stay away from that forbidden tree that He put in the very midst of His Garden for the purpose of 'testing' for developing MATURITY. And again, why so? (see Nah. 1:9)

And again, what does GOD TEACH here on in Gen. 3 while another is found there as well in Gen. 3, with his false teachings?

One more Bible Study question: When we knowingly go on the devil's ground to 'find' some truth (such as the Jer. 17:5 'educated' junk/food where no 'two' hardly agrees with much anyhow) and while 'we know' that there is little else correct! how can we think that we are any better than Eve?? And that God will keep us, but not Adam & Eve??? And Is that what the first created pair were told by God Himself to them, & you??
