Bible Study marriage , sex , create children in heaven ? allowed ? your thoughts ???

snow cones are good .. but they dont cut it when ya want ice cream.. black walnut ice cream...
maybe a small scoop of pineapple , orange and raspberry sherbet , with a good sized scoop of vanilla ...

Great sounding recipe, reba ... thanks! Might give it a try during daylight hours....wouldn't trust the shadows during the dark of night :nono

Yeah it's hard to see colors in the dark and you definitely want to make sure the snow doesn't have any non-snow colors.

Yeah, were all to busy in here talking about ice cream.

Ya know, there's an Edaleen's Dairy store walking distance from me. They have the best ice cream around here. Wonder if they're still open...

The East Coast has seen a lot of snow recently. Friends in Boston wish they still lived in Chicago: less snow!

Oh.
I generally associate Revelation/Apocalypse with the book of Ezekiel. It uses the same imagery, and talks about the same subjects in nearly the same order. I used to think that John copied it, or perhaps used Ezekiel as some kind of template for his own writing.

I mean, Ezekiel 1:1 "on the ... day ... when the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God" vs. Revelation 1:9-14 "on the Lord's Day, I was in the Spirit... see ... one like unto the Son ..."

Both of them start out with rebukes to the religious structures of their day, eg: temple vs. Churches; etc.
And even with respect to the marriage and/or feast I brought up, read Ezekiel chapter 16 where the same topic is mentioned, eg: the "wife" of God...

Ezekiel 16:8 "I sware unto thee, ... and thou becamest mine." vs. Revelation 19:7 "for ... marriage ... is come"
Ezekiel 16:10 "fine linen thy attire" vs. Revelation 19:8 "arrayed in fine linen",

However, Ezekiel emphasizes that God clothes the wife -- whereas in Revelation, the wife makes herself ready ; and the results of being dressed vs. dressing/making one's self ready are apparently opposite for the marriage fails in Ezekiel, but not in Revelation:

Ezekiel 16:16 "You took some of your garments to make gaudy high places, where you carried on your prostitution."
Ezekiel 16:32-33: "But as a wife that committeth adultery, which taketh strangers instead of her husband!"

vs:
Revelation 21:1-3, Revelation 22:3-4 "No longer will there be any curse ... They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads."

But, I'm not sure I recall anything in Daniel about marriage, sex, and/or adultery off the top of my head (I haven't read the book in a while); unless it's the story of Susannah in the later portion of Daniel which is not found in any Hebrew copies of the book we have today, but that's a scholarly issue as to whether or not the text was removed from the Hebrew or not, and going into the dead sea scrolls just to find out that nothing can be proven either way is a bit beyond the scope of the thread... so, I know about the story, as it is available in Greek copies of the bible, but I don't think Revelation says much about it...

So, I'm curious.... What light/commentary does Daniel or Revelation on Daniel throw on there being sex in heaven or not ?? :)
See, you have redefined the question and i would need to do a study to even be able to edited reba. My favorite Ezekiel passage is contained in chapters 37-39. I see the 1948 birth of Israel covered here.

It snowed in Miami some years back.
I grew up in Clearwater / St. Pete in the 70's and it snowed there once.
I remember trying to fire up the hand pump furnace unit... what a chore that was!
