To a Hebrew follower of Jesus that means He is returning on the feast of Trumpets.

The Feast of Trumpets began on the first day (at the new moon) of the seventh month.

You had to be “watching” for the appearance of the new moon because no one knew the day or hour it would appear to mark first day of the new month and the feast of trumpets.


Paul understood this as a student and follower of Jesus Christ.


Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:51-52



We as Christians, who study to show ourselves approved unto God, knows that the Day of the Lord will not come as a thief in the night for us.

Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

This all happens on the last day after the sounding of the seventh trumpet will Christ return with His army (Host) of heaven, Rev 19:11-21.

Sometimes you have to let scripture speak for itself as it shows the timing/signs of Christ return in what we are to watch for and not be carried away by the flood in Noah's day.

I dint see it in the flood of quotes.

Here is how I see it, although I could be wrong. Since no one knows the day or the hour except the Father, the only way we can know he will return is when certain signs begin and are made known. That is what those passages show that for_his_glory gave. So, it really is a simple answer, and, I think, the simplest answer that could be given.
