[__ Prayer __] Me and my children...

I am so kindly asking for prayer for my situation. My life because of my own ill choices.. is falling down around me. Me and my children are verbally abused and put down. We are weary and so very tired of it all. I must get us out of this situation. All I have or need is my Jesus. Please pray that He will open new doors for us and bring us back to the life we once had. Thank you all so much for these much needed prayers...

I will be praying for you and your children, for courage, determination, wisdom and an obvious path for you to take.

Are there women shelters you can go to? Transitional housing?

I can relate because I was abused by my dad and finally got away. I learned an abused person should get out immediately and life is so much better being gone and away from them, there is life after. It's dysfunction that tries to bring the abused into it.

Thank you Jesse for sharing that with me. My life seems so dark right now and filled with turmoil.. but I know that my Jesus will make a way for us. The one thing I do need most is like you said... the courage to move forward. I feel like I will only fail my children. Thank you Jesse....

mswright,
Like Jesse I grew up in an extremely dysfunctional family where it was required that I and my little sisters were require, almost daily to lie for our criminal mother to keep her from going to prison again. We were besieged daily with a narrow and vicious set of descriptive adjectives and for me it was fight or run, a miserable way to live and I did not have Jesus then and He still saw me out of the mess, in spite of myself.

I did not find relief until I changed my locale, however, and did a restart on my life. As, outright hard as it is to make that change, it is often, more often than not, the proper decision to make though. It will, likely, give instant relief to your youngsters.

I have prayed for your relief and as often as I think of you I will continue, may God wrap His love around you for a shield from the evil this world loves.

Praying for you dear sister.
Rom 8:28 With God nothing is past His understanding or ability to work together for your good. Be blessed in Christ Jesus and watch for His deliverance.
Psa 30:2 O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
Psa 30:5 . . weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

And as David prayed after seemingly doing everything wrong.
Psa 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
God did not fail or forsake him.

Thank you so very much Taylor. Thank you for also sharing some of your life with me. It means so much. So glad that God saw you through that awful mess. Thank you and God bless you dear brother...

Eugene that means so very much to me. The Lords words are so dear and He is confirming things to me through His precious servants. Thank you to everyone who is praying for us. I am extremely happy that God lead me to this site!

Praying for you, dear sister, in this difficult situation. May God give you wisdom and courage, and lead you and your children to a better situation. I know how this kind of treatment can take away your confidence in yourself and your ability to cope on your own. Remember Philippians 4:13 - "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".

And remember that God gives us wisdom freely if we ask him - James 1:5

May a path open before you, and may you have the courage to take it. And may God give you peace in your heart, and the assurance that your life is in his safe hands.

I can only imagine what you going through and it definitely can't be easy. Sometimes it might seem that God is nowhere to be seen and you doomed but he is carrying you now without even knowing it. Just keep the faith and all the best to you and all your children.

Thank you dear Jack.... thanks everyone here. I am starting to love this place and it is because of all my brothers and sisters in our Lord who are ministering to me right now... and praying with continued love. Bless you all... (hugs)

Wow. That's rough :-(

I'll keep you and your family up in prayer. I don't know your situation, so I can't really offer any other sort of advice, just...You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. Also...fret not because of evil doers, and focus on cultivating a spirit of a sound mind (not of timidity).

Precious sister,

Remember the story of the children of Israel in the wilderness, when they faced hardships they said,

We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlic: Num 11:5

That was just their imaginations, fish, cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions and garlic were found on the tables of the rich, they were slaves and were given the porridge of slaves.

So too our minds can trick us into thinking it is better to stay and have some of the niceties of a normal life, constantly hoping it will get better, ...reality dear one, it won't get better, only worse!

You have read the testimonies here, people that abuse adults will abuse children, it's only a matter of time if it hasn't started already.

The law is there to protect, you need protection, you need to either call law enforcement or find an abuse hotline and make the call, ...right now!

There are resources available for you, use them, protect your children and yourself, ...once safe you can seek the Lord's will and direction for your life and hear from Him more clearly.

Lord protect and bless you dear one, you are in my prayers.

Thank you my dear precious brother. Thank you for your beautiful and encouraging words. And yes I know in my heart that things will get worse over time. I am so grateful for the prayers I have received. Yes I do need to leave soon.... but am lacking courage so very badly. I am afraid I will fail out there. I feel I have done nothing but fail... not only the Lord, but myself and little ones. Thank you Karl...

Oh precious,

Jesus is madly in love with you, remember He chose you, and me, before the foundation of the world, that means He chose you/us knowing all of the mistakes we will make.

I must say candidly and up front, ...being afraid to fail comes from our pride, that we must crucify, ..yes we fail, and will continue to fail all of the time we spend here on planet earth, but His love and the Cross has paid for all of our failures, so what then when we fail, ...don't waste the lesson, don't waste the precious Blood, learn the lesson and move on, walking in faith.

Peter saw Jesus walking on the water and said,"If that's You Lord, call me to come to You," and Jesus said, "come," Peter stepped out of the boat and started to walk on water, but when he looked at the storm and the waves he started to sink, did you get that, he started to sink, and we read Jesus reached out and took a hold of the burly fisherman and set him in the boat.

It's the same with us, when we step out in faith Jesus is always there to help when our faith falters, now faith comes from hearing and hearing from the Word of God, ...that's why I said to find a safe and secure place for you and your children and then seek the Lord for His direction, ...you tell us how much He means to you and you love Him, that is miniscule to how much you mean to Him and how much He loves you.

I encourage you dear sister, ...make the call.

Father, In the Mighty Name of Jesus i thank you for a hedge of protection around mswright6488 and her children. Thank You that she is Your sheep and she knows Your voice. Thank You that as she commits all of her plans to You that You will cause her thoughts to line up with Your Word, so that they will be established and succeed. Thank You for giving her wisdom, and courage. Father i release Your forgiveness and Love on her husband, because i know that You Love him even though he is making some bad choices. And i pray Lord of the harvest that You will get laborers across his path with Your Word, someone he will listen to. I plead the Blood of Jesus over him, and claim him for you, and i thank You for his salvation. And give You all of the glory! In Jesus Name, Amen
