pray for him and his dad, his dad is having surgery. im not sure if his dad is saved. I know that medina and his wife are.

Done Brother Jason. There's a many a person saved because they believed and cried out to the Lord, but their lives show little fruit to allow us to know. This very operation might be the calling to bring him back into a relationship with God. Blessings in Christ Jesus.

medina hasn't said much about his dad. only that at times he wasn't much of a dad to him. but I assumed that his dad was dead. I know that when medina informed us of the trip to be with his dad, he had a look of major concern. I figured that the dad might be at death's door.

That's the amazing thing about God and His wisdom as to knowing the every need of them that belong to Him. He is evidently doing a mighty work of healing in Medina at the same time as He is working with his father.

if medina has class Monday, I will ask about his dad.

Prayers for Medina & his family. Sometimes a surgery is all it takes for families to be reunited and strengthened together. Let us pray this will be the case for Medina & his family!

add that he needs a car. he has one but he does need two.

I've added the additional transportation need to my prayer list. Two vehicles is almost a necessity these days in order to meet a family's needs.

update, his dad is 80 and has stomach cancer, 80% of the stomach was removed. he also said that he needs a medical power of attorney. his dad isn't fluent in English. and also that the surgery and the events went well,

I think medina also said that he had another type of cancer, and did say if his dad didn't want chemo, let him know and he will not push for treatment and let him pass.

A friend's father-in-law has also turned down chemo in his battle against several forms of cancer. The odds of his winning the battle with chemo was about the same as without it, so he chose to do without. Fortunately, he is amongst a strong community of Christians, so his attitude is positive; at the same time, he's not worried about death.

Prayers continue, however, for Medina and his family.

he works at night and will drive from his home to do business in that area.its a two hour trip. he is leaving after work. pray for him to be alert to drive.

Definitely. It's rather essential he stays awake & alert while driving! :thumbsup

What about his auto insurance?
he is good on that. he isn't poor but still he has a few kids. I assumed he had insurance . if he was military I would say go throw usaa. I wonder.. his brother is usaa. I wonder he could add him and then it would help him a lot. I saved my step daughter a lot on that. my insurance dropped a lot when I joined.

Definitely suggest USAA to him. It's quite possible he would qualify, along with his family.

I will do that. but his brother has to add him so that he can. I did that with monica.

As long as Medina is on good terms with his brother, then all should be well.

It's possible that he could bundle his car insurance with health insurance through USAA, and perhaps not see a huge monthly increase in cost.
